Good Food, Good Friends/ Charlotte & Remus

Charlotte couldn’t help but smile as she made her way down the busy London streets. After getting Remus’ reply to her owl, she had hopped into a yellow shirt with her favorite short overalls. With a wallet mixed with both Pounds and wizard money, Charlie wove her way through the crowds of people to the Leaky Cauldron. As she had yet to pass her Apparition test, they had had to find a common meeting place they both knew.

Quickly greeting the bartender as she passed through the Cauldron, Char made her way to the wizard cafe on the west side of Diagon Alley. It was a quiet place that attracted very little in the way of customers. The owner was a friendly man who’s name Charlotte could never remember. Sitting down at an outside table, Charlie checked her bag to make sure her wand was still there. She knew she wasn’t allowed to use it, but having it with her was a reassuring presence.

Turning over her shoulder as the bell over the door rang, Charlotte smiled at Remus. Jumping to her feet she hugged him, saying, “Hey stranger!”
