Finally got Sszyl’s face pinpointed (and which traits Sussuri inherited from 🥹)

I really want to do character ref charts one day and point out how Sussuri is uncharacteristically tall fir a drow thanks to her dad yes but also she's more built and has more 'meat' to her. Most likely because of surface diet and difference in physical training.

Sussuri starts as a ranger too before full druid while Sszyl is unsurprisingly a rogue

since I drew Sussuri, I might as well draw Sszyl and Sinolu... Finally making sense of their features as my warmups for today

Tragedy Trio + Sussuri timeline

Inspired to write down even more timeline related stuff. Will definitely add Faerun related events like Spellplague and Silence of Lolth for comparisons sake.

1045 - 1050 DR*: Jysyr was born in the slums of Menzoberranzan. Sinolu was born in Imberlur. A young Sszyl was taken into a secret Vhaeraunite merchant clan in Menzoberranzan.

1055 DR: Jysyr’s father was outed as a Vhaeraunite. Jysyr’s father and older brother were killed as punishment.

1070 - 1080 DR*: Jysyr attends Melee-Magthere under special circumstances. Sszyl does not attend the schools in Menzoberranzan but instead was directly tutored in trade and overworld politics.

1080 DR -  1100s DR: Jysyr was placed into a special group of soldiers surveilling the lower classes and merchant groups in the city. Jysyr bonds a special relationship with her overseer.

1150/1151 DR: Small series of riots break out in the lower cities of Menzoberranzan. Jysyr’s overseer dies. She escapes Menzoberranzan with Sszyl and Golkic, a deep gnome weapons master from the surface that was kidnapped for his talents, tags along. (Sszyl was 192 years old*, Jysyr was 195 years old and Golkic was 30 years old). At the surface, Oratina, a halfling ranger based in Neverwinter, was tasked to track down Golkic. They would later meet on the surface and head to Neverwinter.

1152 - 1160 DR*: a lot of shenanigans involving avoiding lolth sworns and trying to live. After living in NW for a year (under disguise), Jysyr and Sszyl decide to leave.

A lot of travelling montage here lol. Sszyl is technically still working under the Vhaeraunite church.

Around this time is when they meet Saroja (wood elf, traveling druid) and Eilistraeean Sinolu (in the middle of doing The Run). A lot of shenanigans and travelling. The drow trio head to Imberlur.

1160 until 1274 DR: Jysyr and Sszyl are based in Imberlur. During this period of time, the three of them commit to a relationship. Jysyr trains as a Darksong Knight and gains her paladin oath.

1275 DR: Sussuri is born. Sszyl and Sinolu pass away. They were around 200 years old. Jysyr is 233 years old at the time. 

1276 DR: Jysyr leaves Imberlur with Sussuri and leaves her with Golkic and Oratina in Neverwinter. She stays for a year before leaving again.Jysyr loses her paladin oath.

Around 1288 DR: Sussuri starts ranger training at 13 years old. Becomes a druid novice in 1294 DR.

1370 - 1371 DR: Full blown war in Reithwin. Saroja dies at 470 years old. Sussuri was 95 years old.

1492 DR: Absolute crisis. Sussuri is 217 years old. Jysyr is 450 years old. Jysyr renews her oath as a paladin of vengeance.

One tiny issue thats been bugging me is I dont know when Imberlur was founded... so many things i need to check for but either way, this is my canon lol.
