It's not quite the winter solstice yet, but last night I had the pleasure of running the Silver Circle Yule ritual ever so slightly early, and had a fabulous time. This ritual was an expansion on the Winter Solstice ritual Doreen Valiente wrote back in the 1950s, slightly changed to make it more appropriate for a ritual done for the public, and it was absolutely magical. I am blessed and honoured to have such a welcoming, dynamic, active, and caring community in my life, and I am already looking forward to doing the next public Sabbat ritual for Imbolc!
