Character Introduction: Professor L. Valentine

INFP//Slytherin

His Story: Valentine was once the most famous pursuer of the Unfocussed known to mankind. Running way from a rich home at fifteen, he spent his young adulthood traversing the lengths of the Earth, cataloguing, recording and discovering thousands of Unfocussed points. He was charming, charismatic, intelligent and renowned across the globe.

Then he disappeared.

After an ill-fated mission to Eastern Mongolia in 1911, Valentine was lost to the world that had once loved him.

Until newcomer Alexis Aneirin finds him teaching geography at Saint Elvington’s Academy, nearly forty years later. 

Where did Valentine go? Why is he so reluctant to face his past? What are his links to the newcomer Alexis? And, perhaps the most pressing issue, why did Joan Myerscough overhear him admitting to committing mass murder?

Character Introduction: Carmen Elvington

From: Saint Elvington’s Academy

INTP//Slytherin

Her Story: Abandoned on the front steps of Saint Elvington’s Academy as a newborn child, Carmen Elvington has never known life outside of its iron gates. But that’s alright. She doesn’t want to. Even as the Academy comes to a close, Carmen makes her plans to hide away and live inside the grounds forever.

Others at the Academy see her as nothing more than another statue at the windows or another tapestry on the walls. They don’t know her stories, her tales, or the secrets she keeps about the Academy in which they all live. She has happily existed as an outsider - but not for much longer. As the spiders web of death and the supernatural comes to light, it may just be revealed that Carmen Elvington, Keeper of Tales, holds the key to the elder-wood door of understanding.
