guys I’m going through the whole of Stranger Things and rewatching and taking notes on every byler moment because I am going to write a Very Long Post about how awful and out of character Mike Wheeler was in season 4 towards Will because I will not stand for the Duffer brothers’ awful characterisation of him recently. Mike Wheeler s1-s2 would destroy Mike Wheeler s4 and I’m going to tell yall WHY once I’m finish rewatching

anyone else get an awful flashback because of the heartbreaking parralel of eddie saying ‘just give me a second’ when dustin tried to help him up and the exact same thing happened in Spiderman NWH when peter tried to get aunt may up and she said ‘i just need a minute’ or words to that effect. because that hurt

I cannot adequately express my absolute rage at the fact that we have gone yet another season without Will being confirmed gay. That van scene with Mike? Fuck you. Using Will’s love for Mike as a way to further Mike and El’s relationship? Fuck you. Stop queerbaiting us.

‘Oh but you have Robin!’. The word gay has never been uttered on screen. Stop toying with our emotions with Will.

me after watching stranger things 4 volume 2 leaving eddie dead, no byler, no will coming out scene, no robin and vickie kiss or date, max basically dead, steve still being in love with nancy and dimitri just disappearing without a goodbye or any explanation

Questions After ST4 V2

Here are the questions I have after finishing stranger things season 4 vol 2.

1. What happen to Dr Owens? Did they kill him? Did Sullivan take him? Where’d he go??

2. What happened to Dimitri? We just... never heard about him or saw him again.

3. Why kill Eddie? Genuine question. What does it add to the plot? How does it advance the story? Why kill him off?

4. Why is Steve still in love with Nancy? It’s been 2 seasons. 

5. How on earth did El restart Max’s heart?? She’s never been seen to have those powers before tf.

6. How did Hopper and Joyce get to Owens government friend Ellen? I thought Hopper said she hung up on them. How did they get back into contact?

7. How did Dustin, Nancy, Steve, Robin and Eddie’s body get out of the upside down? 

8. The fuck was that ‘two days later’ jumpcut?? How’d the gang get out of the upside down, I’m assuming an ambulance showed up to get Max and Lucas, did the California squad just continue to drive back to Hawkins like nothing just happened??

9. How come Henry looks like Venca now but in the flashbacks of him first in the upside down he wasn’t full Vecna yet.

10. How on earth did the Russians capture all those demodogs and what resembles the mind flayer?

11. Why was Dustin the ONLY one to acknowledge Eddie’s death? HELLO??? Eddie had been a part of the group all season, fighting alongside them, and NO ONE but Dustin has anything to say about it??

duffer brothers really did get scared by how much gay subtext there was for byeler in s2 and decided to limit will and mike’s interactions to Little As Possible for fear of the gays
