POPwater Spec Shoot
Back off hiatus from my much beloved creative aesthetic roots, I'm excited to share a few images from my most recent project. Above are a few snaps I caught BTS of a spec shoot I produced, creative directed & style directed for new beverage company POPwater.. With help of visionary photographer, and partner in creative crime Stephen Garnett, we were able to pull out some incredible imagery, capturing the essence of what POPwater represents as a brand. Staying true to the sleek, sexy, fun, fresh and youthful aesthetic that is POPwater, I outfitted the models in Nasty Gal's fall collection, and Naven contemporary women's wear.. The make up mood was about 'bold moments'.. Contrasting eye shadows and pop lips, loud colors, modern lines & was executed by makeup artist extraordinaire - Brooke Hill..
The cast of models was no different than the brand itself. It was important that speak to the beverage's core demographic, while maintaining a higher fashion take on what might typically be considered a commercial product.. & what better way to do that, the to employee social influencers that not only have a presence online, but turn on when a camera is in their face.. All and all the day was a success, the edits are fire, and the prospects are looking bright. I just wanted to share a little taste of what I've been working on.. Stay tuned for final images, and more projects to come..
