i’m not trying to downplay what Pentacost did, what he managed to do on his own (killing the kaiju that took out so much of Japan and separated Mako Mori from her family and then raising Mako), but Tamsin needs some love and some acknowledgement that she didn’t fucking die until much later and she was a part of Mako’s life growing up.
and i get it, it’s not part of the movie and a lot of people don’t ravenously consume tangential/additional content outside of the primary media they’ve enjoyed. but please, do yourself a favor and find a way to read Pacific Rim: Tales From Year Zero or at least hit up the wiki.
