Aaaahh yeah ok honestly picking just one thing is so hard wtf
Here's about half of everything I have written for a spideypool fic nicknamed "second chance"
Catpool blinks up at them as they hurry out, unconcerned by the rush. It's not like this is anything out of the ordinary, and if Catpool was going to be stressed out by any of this, he would not have been a good addition to the household.
He was, of course, the bestest addition to the household.
Anyway, that aside aside, Ellie is sitting in the passenger seat and they're halfway to the new school when Wade remembers to ask again, "Seriously though, did you eat anything?"
Ellie rolls her eyes. "I had cereal and I've got a sandwich," she says. "You're staying for homeroom, right?"
"I said I would, didn't I?" Wade says. "Unless – "
"Unless Uncle Cap calls, I know," Ellie says. "But if he does, I'm going to be mad at both of you."
"Of course," Wade agrees. "You only have the first day of seventh grade once, after all."
This is about half of everything I have written unfortunately, I really need to work on this one more
If you’re still doing the fanfic ask game 42 and 49?
42 ) Have you ever received a comment that particularly stood out to you for whatever reason?
Honestly, I reread my comments constantly to get the serotonin needed to keep writing. All of them are very special to me, but at the moment I keep coming back to the ones on my ULTRAVIOLENT series. Mostly because seeing how much people enjoy my portrayal of Peter has me giggling and kicking my feet. It’s super hard to pick just one tbh, I have a lot of great, consistent reviewers who just mean the world to me. @x-gon-give-it is absolutely one. Then there’s sweetmomo on AO3 and yours too!!!!
49 ) What are you currently working on? Share a few lines if you’re up for it!
A lot. Too much. Multiple WIPS across multiple fandoms. I know you’re not an AU fan but I do have a zombie AU in the works for SpideyDevil that I can drop a few lines from.
“No,” Matt murmurs. The denial a simple sigh, a breath, a horror. “Not you. Not Spider-man.”
There’s a laugh where there should be rattling groans. The spider smells so heavily of gore, of blood and death and sickness. He’s always emanated that hint of iron, but the rest is new. The rest is poison, and it turns Matt’s dark world to ash.
“I’m not really Spider-man anymore,” the man says. “World’s gone to shit. Who needs a mask?”
Matt shakes his head. “You’re always Spider-man. Always will be.” He raises an arm, baton tapping the underside of Spider-man’s chin. “How long since you were bit?”
There’s no laugh this time. “Three days ago.”
Three days, Matt thinks. Impossible.
But if anyone could do the impossible, it was Spider-man.
a doctor who crossover where crowley and aziraphale meet ten and rose please? or any good DW crossovers?
Hello!
Here’s a few fics that I found when searching through this tag.
Ten and Rose fics:
The Second Best Flea Market in the Universe by badxwolfxrising (T)
Some things you can find at the second best flea market in the universe: spare TARDIS parts, rose water lemonade, an angel and a demon in love and, most surprisingly, the truth.
Journey’s Beginning by Colbert100 (T)
The Metacrisis Doctor and Rose struggle to sort through their confusing feelings for each other after they're left together in the alternate universe (which also happens to be a 6000 year old universe which recently suffered an almost-apocalypse). Meanwhile, Aziraphale realizes that he's deeply in love with Crowley after the apocalypse-that-wasn't, but he's not brave enough to let Crowley know. When the two odd couples run into each other, will they help each other out or just make matters worse?
Ten and Donna fics:
The Demons Have the Phonebox by theplatinthehat (NR)
Soho, London, 2019. A man with a blue box has vanished. An angel has been taken from a bookshop. And two redheads are joining forces to get them back.
Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey by Sir_Bedevere (T)
Six thousand years is a long time. In the end, you’re bound to see the same old faces knocking about.
Or, a couple of pining idiots keep running into the one human who a) knows what they are and b) figures them out in 0.3 seconds. Oh, and an unexplainable alien is there too. He doesn't figure much out, because he's too busy licking things.
And here’s a WIP:
Space Boys by Stackthedeck (T)
Five times Crowley was confused for someone else and one time he recognized himself. That'd make a good title if I could shorten it.
Crowley has always thought himself to have a unique appearance, what with the eyes and all. As someone who has lived for 6000 years, it's not unlikely for Crowley to have a doppelganger. It is unlikely to only hear of that doppelganger. It's impossible to hear of him centuries apart. And yet. There's someone running around the London area doing good deads with Crowley's face and he's been doing it for several centuries. Crowley has to put a stop to it.

Idk if you’ve gotten this fact already but birds have hallow bones this makes them lighter and makes it easier to fly!
I knew about the hollow bones but I didn’t know about the hallow bones. How do birds hallow their bones, is there a communal religious ritual or does each bird consecrate their own bones individually? I am assuming that this blessing bestows a sort of divine semi-immunity to gravity?
Do you have any advice for finding a dnd group? I just moved to college and I don’t want to out myself as the weird kid right away. How do I ask people if they play dnd without looking like a dork if they don’t play?
Congrats on getting out to college! The best way to start looking for a table (when times aren’t as hectic as they are now) is turning to your local boardgame store! Most will hold weekly Adventurer’s League games, which is a WOTC-standardized way to play 5e. You basically build a character and then can sit down at any AL table anywhere and play that character. It isn’t, in my opinion, very good for long term play, but it helps you get acquainted with people in your area who play and can help you find friends already interested in DND!
Your college may also have AL or a tabletop club. Taking a peek at your college’s list of clubs can give you a good idea of what’s already offered, and if there isn’t a club, you can have an interest meeting and start your own! I would also look at Facebook groups for the area—more often than not, you’ll find a group called “____ City Adventurers” or “Dungeons and Dragons: Region of State” that will help you connect with others in your area.
At the end of the day, DND isn’t as much of a niche interest as it has been in past decades—I’d argue that it’s just as mainstream now as any other “dorky” interest. It’s a great way to collectively tell a story or learn how to improv—on that note, take a look at the arts program at your school, as well. Kids into improv and theater tend to also enjoy DND (but they’re really not my type of people so it all depends on who you click with!)
Hope this helps!
Good Omens suggestion: Aziraphale knits and he knits Snake!Crowley a sweater tube
oo, I would but that’s been done way better than I could do, here

I think we need to be more forgiving of people who are new to comics. Comics are a really inaccessible medium and especially if you're trying to get into one of the big two companies you're inevitably going to be confused and uninformed. I've been reading DC comics for about a year now (not including watchmen or wonder woman by Greg Rucka which I read years ago but didn't manage to get me into DC), and I've only really been a part of the fandom since July or August, and it's still really confusing and hard to tell what's fanon and what's canon. I have so many characters I haven't managed to read for at all despite wanting to, or only a handful of issues, or only minor appearances. I'd love to have read every single one of Roy Harper's pre-52 appearances but it's just not feasible, especially since DC particularly is inaccessible in another way - their app is only available to US residents. If you want to pay for comics then it's going to be expensive, even digitally - I managed to get Young Justice books 1-3 through comixology, which in itself is not a cheap subscription, but then the rest of the series is $20 a pop!! That's a lot of money!! And in print books go wayyyy higher, or even if they don't cost that much if you're buying a bunch then it's going to get expensive. But even if you're not paying it's confusing to just jump into something like this - don't get me wrong, this is what I've done both with marvel in 2015 and in DC last year, but it's not an easy thing to do and at first you're going to be fucking baffled. You're never going to know everything, it's not physically possible. Even for marvel, which, again, I've been reading since 2015, I haven't exactly come close to reading everything. I haven't even read every Deadpool comic, not even his main titles! I want to read gwenpool and moon knight and daredevil and non-spider-verse-related Spider-Man stories but it's just really fucking difficult to prioritize, not to mention keeping up with current runs.
And I'm doing my best, right? Like I recently finally managed to start reading superfam comics, and last year I started reading x men and scarlet witch, and as I said above I've been reading young justice, and I'm keeping up with like a dozen or more ongoings, and it's so fucking hard and I'm lucky to have enough disposable income and free time to do this. And people have been genuinely fucking mean to me. Like really super fucking dismissive bc how dare I ship the obvious most popular ship and not this more niche one when I haven't even read an appearance of that character!! How dare I not know everything about this run when I haven't gotten to that run yet bc I'm still trying to even track it down!! I can't prioritize comics I can't get my hands on when I have a shelf and a half of DC comics and I've only read about a third of it!!!
And it's worse for people who don't have the money and free time that I do . My parents pay my fucking rent and I only work part time, okay, I'm in a really privileged position. Some people are only reading the DC webtoons or only watching the young justice TV show and yeah it's frustrating to see so many people who don't know your favorite characters as much as you do, but I've been a Deadpool fan for close to eight years now and I've never gone onto anybody's page and told them that they're interpretation is bad and they should feel bad, I keep that shit to myself or AT WORST I complain to my friends in DMs or WhatsApp messages or whatever. The only stuff like this I complain about in public is stuff I consider genuinely harmful (the pit rage trope for Jason for example) or upon specific prompting, and even then I do it on MY blog, not somebody else's, and I don't tag it so people looking for content that they enjoy don't have to see it.
Like... Basically I feel like people are too harsh on casual, peripheral fans, or people who are new to the material, or even people who aren't new to comics but just don't know as much as you. A lot of people don't have any other options. You don't have to like the content they make. But actively going into their content or constantly making negative content about them is exhausting. I'm really tired of constantly seeing memes about how terrible batfam stans are. I don't even disagree, I just think you're annoying. But I don't reblog those posts just to shit on op. Maybe some of y'all should consider it.
