Band Life Is Good Life
Hoooooo boi do I have another little story. Now, I’m in the Stage Band and School Band for my school. I play the trumpet along with one of my other closer friends. We’re a small school, so our band is quite small.
Before I get started, I should explain how a few things work; Stage Band is a before-school band of about 12-14 people who go to school at 8:00 AM, and practice their instruments. School Band is just the class that meets on a Wednesday morning for 3 hrs.
Here are a few things that have been said in my Stage Band group;
-”Shh. Learn some American sign language!” *Signs “I love shrimp tacos”*
-”What about Thomas the Nuclear Bomb?”
-”What if we can’t?” “Can’t what?” “Just... Can’t...”
-”What if I threw my trumpet out the window... would the air make a noise?”
-”Domi-KNOW your rights Wafi”
-”You gotta change your evil waaaaaaaays... Kacy... Before I start... not singing the rest...”
-”What is a Tumbler? Is it a pie?” “No” “Then what is it? It sounds like a pie”
-”You have to strum violently; really get that emotion in the music, y’know? shred the strings like you’re shredding cheese” (Said to the ukulele player)
-”I wonder what I have for lunch...” “A trumpet up your a** if you keep talking s***” (this was whispered between me and the person I was paired to practice with)
It gets interesting...
