I am laughing so hard right now. I just - I'm loosing my shit. He's so fucking stupid it hurts and I'm back at my first impression of Zayn back when I really disliked the guy. What a little shit. I'm 17 and i have the sense not to do that - in fact, I don't think any guy with the least amount of sense would? I'm sorry if this is bashing but I'm really, very disappointed in him. I really am. 

But I was reading that article and you know what else it said?

honestly don't know if people will enjoy it much because again, it's very different from any fic that's normally written in the fandom. i just write weird stuff man, idk.

But here are some snippets I posted a few...weeks ago? months ago? lord, it was a while ago. 

zayn’s sitting in that old coffee shop he’s managed to break into when he first meets liam payne, tumbling across the threshold, out of breath and panting in worn jeans and plaid.

and catching the flush on the pale cheekbones and the brutal honesty filmed across brown eyes, zayn thinks that if he wanted to, he’d be able to reach through liam’s ribs and place his fingertips on his heart. if he wanted to that is. 

not that zayn wants to that is. 

AND

“I’m in love,” Liam blurts, hands rubbing together for warmth, breath a puff in the cool air. 

Zayn’s eyebrows disappear into his dark fringe, “Then why the fuck are you here?”

But Liam looks away quietly, bending to rest his head on his knees, arms drawing his legs closer to his body, “Some things are made for destruction.”

And doesn’t Zayn know all about that?

It’s as if Liam Payne’s been branded at birth, hand picked out to be an experiment in life - a what if child, a like that child.

Liam’s eyes flicker to Zayn and his mouth pulls into a painful smile, “He had a proper boyfriend and everything and when they had their last screaming match I just you know. Thought things had changed and shit.” Liam blinks rapidly and Zayn wonder whether or not he’s holding back tears, “Turns out people like familiarity.”

Zayn hums noncommittally under his breath and tips his head back against the beam, watching the stars scatter the night. He certainly had a bigger blanket now, didn’t he?

“What about you?” 

It’s so quiet that Zayn nearly misses it. ”What about me?”

AND FINALLY

“You’re insane,” Liam breathes, watching Zayn’s hair tousle in the wind as he laughs in great, galloping gasps that have Liam’s chest tightening in digital sharpness.

Because it’s only here - here -  at 180 kilometers an hour, next to a boy that might just be a sociopath for all he knows, that Liam feels the most alive. Because as the world blurs around him erasing the would haves, should haves, and could haves - Liam can see. He can breathe and experience and live and love. 

And he’s watching it all slot into place just like his own digital photograph, sharpening the inestimable space around him into little photons of light that reflect of off Zayn’s golden smile and golden skin and golden eyes. 

A hand reaches to curl around his, Zayn’s dull fingernails scraping the insides of his wrist, “So are you Liam. So are you.”

I'm glad I'm not alone but they're such silly things - I have no idea why they bother me. I'm just an overly sensitive female :(
