STANCY’S PLEASE READ. 👏 🔥

I’ll say it. Stancy Endgame is still very much alive folks! As I’ve said before.. I’m a writer, director, actor and Stancy. Everything the duffers have shown us they do for a reason. The six little nuggets comment to Jonathan was to diffuse any thought of him thinking the break up was because of Steve. She compliments Steve whenever she can. She DID hesitate and the looks they continue to share all of season 5 are all there! My favorite moment so far as small as it is was the whole gun conversation she and Steve share. She no longer feels the weight of Jonathan and immediately begins with those eyes again and flirting with Steve. Another thing when Steve and Dustin save Nancy and Jonathan.. We get another close up on Nancy and Steve’s hands connecting. Steve says “You Okay?” Nance says “Yeah, we’re okay.” As she says it though she lingers towards Steve with the puppy eyes and waits for what’s next from Steve.. when again like season 4 she is interrupted. Dustin hugs her out of nowhere.

Also as an actor you read dialogue from a script.. but you choose how to act that dialogue. Natalia makes all these choices for Nancy in these scenes. Joe makes his Choices for Steve in his scenes. If the Duffers, Directors, Producers or writers have a problem they cut and tell you what to change. That hasn’t been the case in these Stancy Moments.. Another little thing I enjoyed is Nance saying how much Steve makes her happy. Her attitude mirrors how she was in season 1/2 saying she didn’t like Jonathan but now the roles are reversed. I feel as positive as ever right now on Stancy. P.S. I’m not an Anti anything. I just like Stancy. Thanks!

In season 4, it feels like they’re making it look as if everything is just a dream—or as if it was never real, like it didn’t even exist—especially from Nancy’s perspective.

Nancy’s character has been made to look really awful over time, hasn’t she? She’s starting to come across as someone who isn’t serious at all. Then what is all that sexual tension for? If the writers keep ignoring it, she just ends up looking like a fuck girl. (I read someone's comment and thought it was true)

And if in season 5 they decide to say that Nancy was never serious, just like they’ve been ignoring her perspective, then it only makes her character look even worse. Because if Nancy never truly thought she loved him (of course it's Steve), that completely damages her character. And that’s what the Duffers are doing—ignoring it and turning MY NANCY into a bad character.

Stancy season 5 ramble:

Idk what's going on really. Not to be disappointed but it's true what everyone is saying; they built up so much tension just to basically not address it bar once in the map scene (cute hands ahh) though it's kinda true of the other ships too, hardly getting a look in (mileven and lumax) I guess it's been 18 months or something since the end of ST4 so things may have died down between Steve and Nancy as they've learnt to move about eachother without the constant love eyes lol though it obvs creeps back in when they aren't realising it. To that point , I think it's super significant that Dustin keeps calling Steve out on his feelings for Nancy, where in a nice way or not. The "crawling back to Nancy" line or "chasing someone else's girlfriend". He's said them in spite a bit but it's true nonethelesa. I think this is also tying him back to Eddie, who told Steve that Nancy acted without hesitation. It's a trope I love when other characters call their friends out on their feelings lol I think Johnathan is kinda doing that for Nancy too...like saying how she hesited when Steve asked to go with her (also cute throw back to the house in ST4)

I feel like, as head strong and assured Nancy is maybe there is a part of her that she can't control as well. And that's her feelings/actions when she impulsively tries to save people. It's instinct. And Jonathan knows this. Everyone can see it. Nancy is so clever but everyone has blind spots. She maybe can't see beyond her own rationalisation of her feelings. She tries to make sense of them but love often doesn't make sense. She said her and Steve are different people ( ouch..) and that it was never like that with him. I think the latter meant that when Johnathan was away in California that 'it wasn't like that' she was trying to say she wasn't emotionally cheating. As for the 'different people' line, I think they are but maybe that's a good thing. Nancy needs someone who balances her out/compliments her. That's Steve. She literally said she was suffocating in her relationship with Johnathan. Steve makes her laugh and omg that hair comment...looool she keep emphasising how much better his hair is hahaha dead.

But all in all, I think she does need time to figure out what she wants. But so does Steve. Nancy thinks that he has everything figured out but idk I think he doesn't fully, he has a dream but needs direction. Like we can all probably presume that they'll meet again in the future in the epilogue after she's done uni or he's travelled etc. I just wanted at least one tension filled battle rain kiss. That's all I need. Please. I've waited since I was 16!!!!! I need the pay off dammit.

It's been a unsatisfactory season so far though I hate to say it. ST4, we were so blessed oh my lord. The amount of Stancy content...the yearning..... the eyes. It cannot be bettered really. Shame but there we are.

All my hopes are on the finale.

i remember someone's say about the poster of triangle loves is saying that the 'right' person is endgame.

but then again is not true, i mean mike is not in the middle and it's eleven. so eleven is of course choose mike and... if we draw a line from mike to lucas, it becomes a zigzag, of course if you draw it again it can't be straight, but it zigzags to steve because this is a love triangle, not a love straight line lol 😭

I was talking to one of my friends who is a casual Jancy shipper and one of her biggest reasons for believing Jancy will be endgame is that they were set up since day one.

Shouldn’t the whole they were set up since day one argument be irrelevant at this point since on day one Steve was supposed to die. Now that he’s still here and his whole story has changed from what it was going to be I think Jancy is far from a guarantee.

Look at Steve and Robin. They were going to be an endgame couple when they first started writing season 3 but things changed.

Just referencing early seasons is selling the writers short. So much has happened since then and the characters and their relationships have grown and are not the same as they were then.

The point is I won that argument and Stancy is endgame lol
