I will make a post about Starmen, the race of aliens that created the stand artifacts, along with some drawings of notable Starmen shortly.
I hope you enjoyed this little snippet of my world building! 🐰💜✨️ I'd like to thank walks, good music, and my younger brother for inspiring me today. (He suggested I make Alter Ego's control points floppy discs and I came up with it's visuals and the Steve Jobs stuff after that lulululul)
For the Writing Prompt Starters, can I request under Angst # 26 “Did you ever love me?” with Jotaro. Thank you💕 Have a wonderful day!
@cosmichoroscope : “Hey! I loved the way you did my last request, so I decided maybe one more wouldn't hurt! Would you mind doing 26 ("Did you ever even love me?") 31( “Hopeless, worthless, and useless: the list goes on with all the ways I could use to describe how you made me feel." ) with Jotaro, please? With a gender-neutral reader if you could? I love your writing and I can't wait to see more!”
26. “Did you ever even love me?”
31. “Hopeless, worthless, and useless, the lisy goes on with all the ways i could use to describe how you made me feel.”
A/N: FUCK this is sad, y’all are getting a heaping helping of angst. I also combined the two asks bc they’re similar, and i figured it would be fun! Bring tissues! (I used p4 jotaro, figured it could be fun!)
Warnings: ANGST, domestic fighting, sadness, mutual pining(?), language
This was the last straw for Jotaro. The first time his love had been attacked by an enemy Stand user, he thought it was blind luck. Just someone who had stumbled upon him, figured out his reputation, and gone after you by chance.
This was the third time. He couldn’t deny it any more, and he couldn’t keep lying about what was happening. You couldn’t see Stands, but he thought he could make it work. Settle down with a nice girl, maybe marry her and have a family. But now, you were being attacked by forces you couldn’t see or understand, and though he was usually able to protect you, he knew one day he would be too late. He always was.
You didn’t know any of this. You came home one day as if it was normal. You threw your coat to the side, onto the chair in the front hall of the house you shared with Jotaro. You called to him. He’d been working from home that day. “Honey? I’m home!”
You walked up the stairs to his study, but he wasn’t there. You frowned, and turned to leave, and suddenly he was in front of you. You gasped. “Fuck. Don’t do that.”
He gave no response. “I need to talk to you.”
Fear gripped your gut in its icy fingers. You raised an eyebrow. “About what, babe?”
He gestured to the chair next to his desk. The icy fingers tightened a little. You sat.
Jotaro sat next to you. “I’ve been thinking about this for a while.”
He gritted his teeth internally. Fuck. He couldn’t do this.
You looked at him, all traces of bravado gone. “Jojo…”
The look in your eyes…he turned away. “We can’t be together anymore.”
The hand clenched. Your worst fears were realized, and the icy fingers of fear began to extend to your heart. You swallowed. “Jotaro…don’t joke about that.”
He looked down, still not making eye contact. “I’m not.”
He blinked back tears. Fuck. This was worse than he’d anticipated. “I’m serious. We can’t be together. I can’t do it.”
You felt the fear twist and turn into anger. “Do what? Love me?”
He stood. “Yes.”
You felt your eyes fill with tears. Jotaro turned his back to you. “Keep the house. I’ll pay for it as long as you need.”
You sobbed, tears spilling over. “I don’t give a fuck about the damn house. Jotaro…please.”
He almost broke right there. Almost rushed back to you, held you tight, reassured you. He almost lost it. But he didn’t. “I’m leaving now.”
You sobbed again. “Did you ever even love me?”
He paused. “That’s not fair.”
You stood up, knocking the chair over. “I’m not being fair? Me? You’re walking out on me!”
He said nothing. You clenched your fists. “Fuck you. Hopeless, worthless, and useless: the list goes on with all the ways I could use to describe how you made me feel, and it would never be enough.”
Jotaro bowed his head. He deserved this. He deserved the abuse, he knew that. He stood and listened, internalizing every word. You went on. “You’re a fucking prick. I loved you, I served you, I did everything I could for you! And you just fucking leave? Out of nowhere?”
He closed his eyes. “Are you done?”
You could have killed him. “I hope you die.”
He nodded, and then he was gone.
You collapsed into his chair and sobbed until your tears ran dry. You fell asleep there, amid his books and notes, his scent, his presence. You missed work the next day.
But you had to leave sometime, and the moment you did, you felt better. The sunshine had a therapeutic effect on you, and you felt calmer.
Then the arrow pierced your heart.
But strangely, you felt no pain. Only a warm presence. You saw a golden aura become visible around you, and felt the arrow leave your chest before you passed out.
Hey guys! This year (actually on 8.1) i will open my first stand at Cami Con. Im gonna sell posters and stickers... And as well Jojo mask and stand arrows!. Ik that this is the wrong place to show it cuz my Con is in my country, but wanted to share my hard work with everyone.
What's the lowdown on Mikitaka? Alien/Stand user? If he's an alien, do you think the arrow doesn't work on aliens because it's made from an alien substance itself? Is there a race of naturally born stand user aliens?!
I’ve got a lot of feelings about Mikitaka. First things first, I am almost 100% sure that Araki wrote him to be a kid who is obsessed with extraterrestrials pretending to be an alien. With that said: Honestly, which is more fun? Writing about a kid pretending to be an alien? Or writing about an alien pretending to be a kid, brainwashing a woman into thinking he’s her son, and then trying to learn about human culture from one of the least socially “normal” high schoolers in Morioh?
And so, for the sake of my own amusement, I choose to think that Mikitaka is an alien. Doesn’t mean that I don’t have evidence for it, however. Stand arrows were created from a meteorite that landed on the earth, carrying an alien virus that could grant humans special powers if they survived exposure to the substance.
Where did that virus come from?
I’d say it originated in Mikitaka’s homeworld. It makes sense that the arrow would have been rejected by a stand user and just bounced off of them instead of embedding itself in them, as they already have a stand. If Mikitaka comes from a planet that is fully infected with this virus (read: everyone has a stand), it makes perfect sense that he would have such a neutral reaction to seeing Crazy Diamond for the first time. And if his race were able to trace the meteor falling to Earth, perhaps that is why they sent Mikitaka to investigate the planet: there would be creatures with stands, just like them. It’s some food for thought.

Okay, there is another theory that I personally love myself just because I am a Pillar Man fanatic. There are a million holes that can be poked in this theory, but I love it too much to not mention it. Mikitaka could be Santana and his “mother” could be Kars that crash landed back down on Earth. First of all, volcanoes don’t actually have enough power to send objects out of Earth’s gravitational pull. Kars would have just been circling the Earth for a number of years until he inevitably came crashing back down. He can also take whatever living form he would like. It wouldn’t be unlike him to try and find an ally that he could rely on to retake power for himself, and busting Santana out of a lab would be child’s play for a being like him. He would still be cautious, however. Kars is prideful, but not stupid. He learns from his experiences. His most recent experience dictates that humans are, in fact, able to put him in stasis for years on end.
The perfect disguise for him and his incredibly socially inept ally (as shown by Santana’s behavior in the Nazi base) would be a mother who fits perfectly into human society and a child who pretends to be from outer space, learning about society for himself. Santana has already been shown to have talent in bodily manipulation; with a mentor like Kars, he could easily learn to manipulate himself into the shapes that Earth Wind and Fire allows Mikitaka to.
So those are my two headcanons. Neither really fits perfectly into JJBA lore, but I think that both present some very interesting possibilities for Mikitaka as a character.
