CJ Calica’s Blog Page
Good day, I am CJ Calica, a graduating ABM student. I have always dreamed of being an Accountant and an Entrepreneur someday. And as an ABM student, I am taught and trained of the competencies I will need to realize and to achieve my goals of being a CPA and a Businessman. But ABM Strand is not only about accounting, finance, and management, it also helps an individual to be prepared to work in the corporate world and help any kind of business succeed and have a positive impact to the nation’s economy. As per my Economics teacher, “Sky is the limit in business.” Through my first blog about ABM, I want incoming Senior High School students to have an overview of the strand and prepare themselves for the journey towards the realization of their true purpose. ABM strand gives a student the chance of a direct path towards the business and corporate world and opens the opportunities for them to put up their own businesses in the future.
As a new established blogger and with the current situation, I have decided to use my blog to influence my fellows to stand for the protection and preservation of the environment. I have shared two videos about environmental issues and the advocacy of “Stand for Trees.” The two videos are from Prince Ea’s YouTube channel and are both posted in 2015. The first video entitled, “Dear Future Generations: Sorry,” serves as an apology to the future generations because of the destructions caused by man’s wrong doings that negatively affected our planet. The second video entitled, “MAN vs EARTH,” is about the destructions of the planet because of human advancements. But it also talks about the steps on the rehabilitation of our planet, such as the “Stand for Trees” movement. Speaking about environmental rehabilitation, I and you as students, also contribute to the rehabilitation of our environment by the simple things that we do in a daily basis. Personally, I together with my family, help the environment by the simple ways we regularly do at home, such as: 1.) Reuse of plastic mineral water bottles as regular drinking bottle; 2.) Collecting of used papers and selling it to the junk shops; 3.) Conserving electricity and water as much as possible; 4.) Regular maintenance of appliances as form of helping in the electricity consumption; 5.) Buying and using reusable bags; 6.) Spreading awareness; 7.) Avoiding littering and using Eco-friendly supplies. See, simple but effective. We may and we can start now!
For a new blogger, like me, I have chosen to use Tumblr as my platform because it is easy for beginners. Its layout and features are simple and easy to understand. It provides traffic opportunities for my published contents because it has many users, who in return may read and view blogs on the website. So, what are you waiting for? Take a moment to view my blog page and enjoy. Thank you for your time. Keep safe and God bless.
