What is standoras relationship with all the suitors?
Oohhh…. this one is gonna be lengthy…
Let’s start with the ones I’ve been more well versed in!
Antinous: She absolutely despises him. Yes I tend to ship them together but that’s more of a crack ship than anything. But for the canon, she hates his guts and he loves to tease her. And he will get very handsy as the guy has no shame for anything. Thus why Standora has no problem throwing punches, especially when it involves the Queen or Prince.
Eurymachus: Out of all the suitors, he is the one she hates the least (aside from Astron but that one develops more in time.) Maybe even crushed on. All she felt for him was pity when seeing Antinous rallying the suitors together, and Eury falling into that lot for fear of his own life. She would be the most civilized with Eury, even indulging on common interests and perhaps a sparring session every so often. Safe to say, Eury would be the first to apologize after any fight that Standora didn’t start, providing some comfort when the others aren’t looking.
Melanthius: Standora never really liked him. To her, Melanthius was a slithering snake. Always kept to himself, though could be a charmer when he needed. Perhaps there may have been a time or two where he got her flustered, but thankfully nothing was truly personal. He watched her butting heads with Antinous and perhaps some of the other suitors, keeping out of the crossfire, though he has received a couple of punches early on.
Sachlos: One of the first to flirt with Standora upon becoming a suitor to the queen, she never cared for him. Something about his laid back, stoner vibes never sat right with her, and thus she just tried to keep away as much as she could.
Ajax: The suitor that gave her the most injuries, Standora never shied away from a tussle with the big guy. In the beginning he did hold back because, Standora is a woman, women can’t really fight, but once Standora got to pushing, it became a more regular interaction. It became more apparent with any arguments they had.
Hector: The selfish twink, it was easy for Standora to dislike him upon their first meetingz Along with Sachlos, Hector tried to flirt with the young woman, but it didn’t go over well, and he would just throw a fit. Standora in the beginning tried to be polite about such interactions, but eventually leaned into threats if Hector didn’t stop, to which he did.
Pisander: One of the few Suitors that Standora doesn’t exactly interact with. Most times that they do, Pisander is with Ajax and witnesses everything that Ajax and Standora do to each other with their fists. Though, on the off chance that they do have any one on one, Standora just tries to ignore him.
Amphinomus: Another suitor Standora barely interacts with. She gives him a slight pass as he is around the Queen’s age being amongst the oldest suitors, but she doesn’t like how often he involves himself with Antinous. One conversation she’d have with him is “Why? Why stick to that wolf?!” to which I imagine his response would be, “In this world, it’s survival of the fittest, and staying with the strong gives an advantage over the weaker ones.”
WOOOO that was alot!!! I am open to more Head Canons from you guys and who knows, maybe I might add it to Standora’s canon!
