As we march forward in these historic times to change this struggling nation we need music to dance to when we are felling good, and songs that lift our spirits when they are low. We are calling all artists with messages of peace, hope, justice, tribulation, joy, pain, and victory to our weekly open mic event. Music and poetry have the ability to travel beyond our false borders and reach deep into our hearts, minds and souls. Poetry and music connect people in ways beyond our imagination but within our realm of experience.
