All academics are inner secret agents
I have never understood why there are no academics (especially dark academics) who are secret agents. I mean, secret agents go after confidential information while a dark academician's life revolves around finding forbidden works. A secret agent deciphers code while an academician tries to make sense of previous annotations and longs to learn a language long forgotten. An agent keeps their identity hidden while an academician morphs into an entirely different person with each sentence read.
