Discovered today that Pavlova just adores olives.

Just had the building manager for the flats next to the river over to say that there have been complaints that I have been running my engine after 8pm.

This is an absolute lie and I have been scrupulously careful to never run the engine outside of the 8am to 8pm window where this is allowed.

I am so annoyed by this slander. Grrrrrrr! :-(

The guy took my registration number and I bet they are going to make a formal complaint.

How can you prove that you haven't been a nuisance?

Stupidly enough I was annoyed last night when someone started up their engine around 10pm but couldn't face going out into the cold to complain.

On a happier note, the incident occurred while I was mooring up after taking a little spin in Emanon when the sun came out this afternoon. Not that far but cruised down to the Stort and back. Nice to be at the helm again.

Just plugging the guy who just fitted my solar panels and did a lovely job.

Back up to Stanstead Abbotts again this morning for the re-floating of Emanon, weather permitting. Hoping it doesn't get too windy to get the boat airborne again.

Back home and Emanon still out of the water. They hadn't actually completely finished the blacking, it all taking a little longer because of low temperatures. Just the strips on the bottom where the boat had been resting on wooden blocks are left to do. They were just starting on those when I got there and it should be dry and ready to go back into the water tomorrow morning.

Looking very smart now.
