One thing I really like about Stanley's writing is the fact that he is shown multiple times to not care about leaving people behind. He states that the KOS doesn't have enough grit to leave anybody behind. He also tells Carlos and Max that they can decide to save Luna or leave her. He leaves Charlotte behind to die. But when Xeno gets taken he goes across the fucking globe.
