Cynthia was one of Magni’s longest relationships, lasting nearly a year. I’m still unsure of how they would have meet, but I do know that the reason Magni stayed with her was because of the stability. It seemed like she was willing to look past Magni’s baggage, an for a bit Magni was fine with someone getting to know her that deeply. They could even see a life where they would stick together and travel the galaxy together.

However, Cynthia had something different in mind for their relationship. She slowly began to pull Magni away from her goals and aspirations in exchange for stability and assurance. Unknowing to Magni, she was also in a way “domesticating” them. Magni didn’t have to loose her work related tendencies, the perfect Miniknog family operates best with a worker to bring back the money… Cynthia is a victim and perpetrator of the ideals of the Miniknog. It’s maybe best Magni didn’t agree to marry her. Maybe it’s best they left when they did. Who’s to say she would have later?

Been a while since I did anything Starbound, but damnit I missed drawing my boi and other Starbound things, so I made a bunch of small sketches! (Warming up my drawing hand after a month of exams)

So sorry for the low quality of lineart, it was just for fun so I didn't bother cleaning it up lol, but I HAVE been working on my character poses a bit ^^

I need to play more Starbound cause it really is THE comfort universe for me. As wonky as the game is, it scratches all the right places in my brain and it's simply the perfect game for me to fall in love with, I can't even put into words how special this world is for me.

I love every single person out there making fanart for Starbound 🤍 we may be a small fandom but at least we're here
