Hello! I'm Diced-Sugar, and welcome to my blog. I do digital art as my hobby and try to post it often here, although there are periods where I can't do as much art because of college. I currently am an environmental and occupational health major! I have had a passion for environmental science since high school, and I've also always had a passion for biology in general.

I'm an ace lesbian and my girlfriend who I want to marry soon someday is also on Tumblr! You can find her at @pomegranateteatime. She posts about a lot of the same things that I do, and also has posted some really cool music that you should go check out!

On this blog, I usually post about my OCs that are part of a personal project called Grand Thesis. I also like to post a lot about Nitro+Chiral games, especially Slow Damage. Occasionally I post about media from my childhood (Warriors, Kirby, etc.), but my blog is mostly 18+ because of the media I talk about most of the time. I don't reblog or post sexually explicit content on here, however please keep in mind that I may post or reblog suggestive content to varying degrees. Very rarely, I also post writing content.

I am also always looking to make new mutuals and friends on here! I've already made a lot of cool mutuals which I'm very happy about :D But I am a very low-energy person, so I might not reply right away if you message me in some way. But I try to make my replies as quick as I can!

Also, because I have had problems with people stealing my art in the past once or twice: I do not authorize anyone to repost my art anywhere, whether that be here or on other platforms; to use my art to trace and then post the result; or to feed/give my work to AI in any way, shape or form and for any purpose. I do not give permission for any of these things period.

Hiya everyone! :D I'm back again with another character from the Andersonverse (colloquial title, we still need an official name)... this time, we have the woman herself, the Andersonverse's namesake, Maxine Anderson!!

Maxine, also nicknamed Max, works for a detective agency with Lane as her assistant and Ophelia as her researcher. Though she has a somewhat stoic and detached personality, and can come off as cold or rude when speaking with others, she truly is a perceptive person who pays attention to the fine details, has a great memory, is very particular (to the point that she would rather show up late to work with no wrinkles in her suit rather than on time with wrinkles), and holds a lot of compassion for others. She finds it difficult to let others in due to how much pain it has caused her in the past, but at her core she is a bleeding heart.

Maxine grew up in an abusive and traditional household where she was forced to be highly feminine, and eventually was about to also be forced into marriage. However, she found vastly more freedom after running away and meeting a woman on the streets named Jacqueline Silver, or "Jack". Though she couldn't have known it at the time, her and Jack's relationship would change the course of her life forever, eventually culminating in her current situation as a detective. In the present day, Jack has been missing for several years, but remains alive. Throughout the story, Jack's actions ultimately drive her investigations and lead her to discover countless secrets about the crime organization Mantis and those involved with it.

Max enjoys sweets (with birdmilk being her favorite) but doesn't believe she deserves them, loves thick fantasy novels and non-fiction books about architectural history, and wears a cologne that smells like leather, musk, and vanilla... and cigarettes, although that scent also comes from her smoking habit. She initially picked it up since in her youth an older butch told her it would help her attract more ladies, and nowadays it doubles as an addictive coping mechanism. Also, she has Swyer's syndrome!

Shawna, you are truly such a bright and wonderful soul. I hope that you have an absolutely amazing birthday today, and I hope that you also like the doodles that I made. The black cat ones are supposed to be of Nu Mao, then you know I also had to draw some Rei x Mila stuff!! Honestly they were SO much fun to draw, they are so so so cute, you truly are a genius for suggesting them 🥹

I truly honor our friendship and I know that I've said this many times, but I really hope that we can be friends for the rest of our lives. You are such an amazing, talented, inspiring, kind, passionate, and deep person that truly enriches the lives of all that you meet. I'm so glad that you were born and that you're here with us now. I know that you have gone through many difficult things, and things lately have been difficult too, but you always find a way to keep going. For myself and Rowan, and so many other people in this world, we are all cheering you on and celebrating you today (and don't forget, every other day too!), because your existence makes things so much brighter. OMG MIRANDA I LITERALLY SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THE DOODLES 😭 my beloved Nu Mao? Rei x Mila? Milton x Little A? Asato x Konoe? AND you blew up my enemy??? I’m so spoiled seriously!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MIRANDA IM SO HAPPY 🥹 Rei and Mila’s little interactions are so precious I love them so much. Especially Mila trying on Rei’s jacket that was adorable 😭 and that literally looks exactly like how Nu Mao lays you captured her entire essence!! I showed her the art and she looked at it for a long time XD Milton and Little A being drawn as animals was something I didn’t know I needed but it literally healed me. You are so good at drawing animals!!!

Thank you so much for the kind birthday wishes it made my whole day! We will 100% be friends forever I just know it!! We were low-key made for each other in the friend lab 😭 I’m so lucky to have you and Rowan in my life. I always look forward to our interactions and life has truly gotten more fun with y’all around!
