Been watching Starbound SMP and by watching I mean I started at ~4 pm and it is 2:35 am. I stopped for dinner and to call my friends for a bit but… I’m invested.

- Asri has nightmares about what the worm did to Aura and has woken himself up crying about it.

- Asri has also woken himself up in a panic attack after a nightmare about Aura being wormed and watching but not being able to do anything, Romeo had to calm her down after that.

- Evern sits for a while staring at Asrickus's number late at night.

- Evern will also sit staring at Romeo's number until beam nudges him to bed.

- Hazelnut has been biting aura's shirt to keep star in place.

- Tpk is scared of Asri for like an hour before forgetting about it and just being happy to be out of the bag

- Romeo will just watch Asri sleep to make sure he stays breathing.

- Vesper has been staring at Tads contact while Evern sleeps.

- the planet ate terref.

I just think that, while Asri and Aura work on things that Aura and vesper could kiss. They could be so cute!! Enemies to lovers and all that jazz

Starbound was a time:

Yay! Asri and Evren are back but also oh my god is Aura not okay & they were all alone at the end.

I really hope we get people checking in on Aura, but god damn is star so much braver than me, if I had the ability to phase through walls I would have been out of there in an instant.

I can’t imagine how many conflicting thoughts Aura had during that entire time. Not only is that their abusive partner (even though it wasn’t him in control) Aura also has a lot of trauma around Nerve.

Now the two people in Aura’s life that they have the most negative feelings about that are the most scary to star are not distant enemies but friends that need help. That star wants to help.

Knowing Arua, they are going to blame starself for every time they flinch away from Asri or get scared around Evren. Even though it’s an entirely reasonable response to the two people who hurt start the most (both physically and mentally).

I really hope people are able to be there for star, I really hope Romeo and Vesper are able to talk to Aura. They are the closest to the “brothers in worm” and might understand a fraction of what Aura’s feeling - especially Vesper, she was also trapped in an abusive relationship just a different kind.

I’m just so heartbroken by Aura saying, “I don’t think I can talk to people right now.” Everyone else is happy, is relieved, is okay, and Aura just isn’t.

Aura, take your time. And remember there’s no “should” when it comes to trauma. Let yourself feel things and build from there.

I’m worried about Aura

Spoilers for Starbound lore 11/4/26

Given what’s just happened in Lore and what Aro has made and what that’s caused, I’m worried for Aura.

So, Aro got hit with the cure instead of Nerve… Aura’s back, yay. Except, Aro created even more powerful weapons that they gave to the parasites. Aro was directly responsible for Epsilons death.

Aura already has a habit of blaming themself for Aro’s actions and right now Navi is a mess of emotions and won’t be able to pull Aura out of any spiral star puts themself in.

Add to that Aura’s heart and whatever’s going on there and it’s a recipe for a mess. I really hope someone is there to help Aura but I don’t know if anyone but the tool box will be.

Plus, you’ve got vesper who didn’t want Aura back - wanted Nerve cured - that’s gonna be an interesting dynamic.

I just really hope Aura is able to pull themselves through this.

I find it so funny that we call Aura’s parasite “Aro” and it seems to have no romantic interest in Irsa or anyone
