If I complain it’s because I think it’s sad that a potentially great show like “Arrow” is going down the drain due to poor writing and the pandering to a specific fanbase. If you leave the tumblr shipper heaven and check out other fan spaces you will see that many, many fans agree with me, even those who are not Laurel fans:

The most ridiculous thing to me is that they seem to be utilising Thea as a emotional plug for Oliver in the next episode to make it seem like he's making this big sacrifice for her... as though he's had so much to do with her since she got back from Corto Maltese. At least that's the impression I got from watching the promo.

My swearing got the best me then sorry. I just get really bad when I see so many people saying such terrible things about Laurel as a character, and some even calling out Katie for matters that aren't her fault. I had to stop reading when some prick said she looks retarded in the costume... the fact is that its Katies birthday, not Laurel and certainly not The Black Canaries so why can't people tell the difference between an actor and a character? They really are so offensive and those people should be so ashamed.

A couple of people near the bottom cheered me up more. Somebody even asked why people hate Katie/Laurel so much, and one added a picture of a little red truck with a present on the back of it, so that way really sweet to see =3 Probably because so many more assholes liked their comments, making them reach the top of the thread. They just really astound me.

Did Mrs. Patmore's nephew get his name on the memorial? I hope he did. We're a few eps behind in Sweden.

Not quite. His name isn't on the official memorial. BUT at the end of the unveiling ceremony, Robert made an announcement and drew everyone's attention to another special plaque that he had made up just for Mrs. Patmore's nephew.

It was really quite sweet.
