AU where Davinas parents weren't killed and these two meet (again) at a mafia party (also again), but this time as adults!

Some ideas for this scenario:

Davina's still a hacker and just in general build different (maybe she was trained by her nanny/the headmistress in order to better defend herself, idk)

Gabriel's dad still kicked the bucket, and olive fetish freak is still the don (I'm like 95% sure he killed his brother in the comic, and that's also true here)

[This point right here is spoilers for a (current) fast pass chapter, so read at your own risk: I head canon that this meeting happend before Gabe was forced to marry Emmaline and her consequent murder by the don (still not convinced by that one, btw. No way she's actually dead; the way that drawing of mikey and davina was torn in ep 72 practically screams of jealousy of their relationship. And what relationship is most similar to that one? Oh, right)]

anyway, basically Gabe and Vina be pining for each other after this

At one point, their families consider betrothing them, but her parents are smart enough to say fuck this we can't trust the olive assaulter and anyway we'd actually like to keep our daughter out of this as much as possible so no thanks

Some shenanigans happen, idk what exactly, but Davina and Gabriel still wind up trying to get Mikey out

Also, they still obviously fall in love with each other
