hello everyone! thank you to everyone who’s contributing to buzz in the tag! ♡ the staff team has a couple announcements:
opening day
we’ll be opening this friday, february 23rd, at 5:00pm eastern! if you'd like to get a head start on your application, we’ll be releasing the code late wednesday. tumblr face reserves will be good for 72 hours after we open.

in case you missed it, we posted our member groups here! and, after getting tied up with real life commitments, ellie has stepped down from the star crossed team. we thank her for her time spent on staff!

• ariadne evans, ari for short and aria to her family, is ambition, hope and the summation of the new york city dream. she knows pretty well what fame looks and feels like, she is an evans after all.
• she was in a few smaller plays, but her first big role was as jane banks for mary poppins. and every so often she got casted to play the younger version of the leads. generally, though she does mainly local / regional theatres versus broadway.
• small roles don’t really put food on the table, and she spends some of her time in tv musicals, film, and shows. it’s fun but it’s not really the main thing she really wants to do. like, theatre is endgame for her.
• lives in nyc, but goes to la like an absurd amount. prob spends a good amount of time there tbh, like enough to prob have done local theatre and taken roles before, because her parents live there and she likes to visit them if they’re not visitng her.
• loves: flowers (esp. peonies), red velvet cupcakes, fizzy bath bombs, people whose eyes crinkle when they smile, early mornings
• she’s v sweet, determined, and basically smiles at everyone all the time. obnoxiously optimistic and tries to cheer everyone up. basically always has energy 24/7 even without coffee. honestly, she just lives by the motto of being nice, because she doesn’t see the point of being anything but that.

hey fam! so i briefly mentioned alice’s family in her little blurb and figured i’d finally throw up an official request for them. ally + her husband met while studying @ yale university. they started dating during her junior year (his senior year) and fell in love very fast, very furious. after mr. evans graduated, they maintained a long distance relationship until ally graduated and joined him in nyc where she pursued a graduate degree in philosophy.
all the kids were born and raised in new york city -- some have likely migrated elsewhere, but i’m leaving that open. ally and her husband have moved out to los angeles since she’s started switching her career to screenwriting (i have it in my mind that he’s an actor, but i’d also be open to director as well!)
the only other important things of note are that ally + mr. evans’ first daughter died shortly after she was born. while it’s not something directly ~impacting the playable kiddos, it does explain why ally gets anxious about how the kids are doing. second: ally’s career is on life support. as of right now she’s keeping that from her family, but she has resorted back to drinking (mr. evans helped her kick the habit decades ago).
