I love chances to write for Jeric, and Seb has grown on me over the years. Hopefully, I did them justice. ^_^

A grimace flitted across Sebastian’s face. “You know how much I hate clubbing.”

“I do,” Jeric admitted. “But there’s only one hottie I want to dance dirty with.”

“Is that right?” he asked, that half-smile Jeric adored curling his lips. “Tell you what: let’s play a game. If I win, I get to stay home while you go out with Bryle. If you win, I’ll go with you.”

Jeric should have known better, should have taken into account that confident gleam in Seb’s pretty eyes. Too many years spent proving himself the best—with the deeply competitive streak to match—overcame any such observations. “Sweetheart,” he grinned, “there ain’t a game I won’t win to keep your company.”

Sebastian’s smile turned downright evil.

hi again - idk if you’re still taking requests BUT after the latest chapter i’m definitely curious to see what the jeric/june/sterling dynamic would be like. ik you said you might do something about that in the future, but just a short drabble would be amazing, romantic or just friend vibes!

This thing turned out so fluffy and sweet... I think I may have injured myself in the process. More of a vignette than an actual story, but I think I like it that way:

With the advent of SDV 1.6 and the subsequent updates to the expansion mods, I have to confess that my favorite QoL improvement to come out of it is the change in Jeric's Shop.

He now sells seeds in batches of 9 instead of 5!!! 🤩 Do you have any idea how much that satisfies my desperate need to lay my farm out in logical plots of 3x3 in the early game? Do you?

I am so bloody happy about this I'd dance in the streets in nothing but beads. (Not really.)

I swear I didn't plan it this way, but after posting the Luau chapter to my fic, Choices: Summer, yesterday, I got to play the Luau in my 1.6 playthrough. Since the game up to this point has refused to cooperate by providing Callie with a $!@#ing rainy day, I'll instead toss up some pics from the Luau.

I had far too much fun making up that little outfit for Callie. (Yes, I've played the Sims since its original incarnation. Your point?)

Also, did they always used to have rugs of fronds scattered all around in previous versions? Because I swear they used to only be in the dancing areas. Or maybe I'm just highly unobservant.

I have so many damn NPCs these days. To show them all would add another four pics to the dump. No pic of talking to Sterling this time. Poor dude was trapped inside of a table. I'd blame his alcohol consumption, but he's still in recovery....

(Seriously, no shade on modders when crap like that happens, especially with all of the small changes here and there with 1.6.)

Jeric's always good for an ego boost, though.

Gold-star cauliflower for the win! And look, the gov brought his family.

Oh, and about that rain that keeps eluding me...

Caelwynn's Birthday Week SDV Reader Requests #1 - "Bluebell"

Because that title isn't a mouthful. 😅

This one comes from @shortysus4: "AU (maybe in Zuzu?) where Callie gives Ben a dance lesson, bc I keep thinking about this concept and it's adorable to me."

Ben, for the record, is her farmer from her fantastic fic, Coffee Beans, Candles, & Keyboards (seriously, check it out! Especially if you're a June lover). Callie, of course, is the main character/farmer from my series Choices.

With Ben not-so-subtly pining over a June who has left the valley to go on tour, Emily agrees to be his partner at the Flower Dance. Unfortunately, her attempts to teach him go... poorly. At her wit's end, she asks Callie for a helping hand. The resident monster hunter easily agrees, looking forward to the opportunity to tease their newest farmer. And if she happens to have another lesson to impart, well, Ben should be glad to benefit from her wisdom and experience.

It's the day of the fair, y'all!

Callie spent all damn day there. Of course, she had to hang out with her husband and in-laws:

Hey look, it's Monday!

Chapter 5 of Choices: Spring, "Possessive," is up on Ao3. Callie gets adopted by a cat. Marnie guilts her into attending aerobics. Mia sets Sterling up on a play-date. Shane throws a jealous snit. Lastly, Sterling finally gets something he wants.

I'm sure that won't backfire.

“Mia put you up to this, didn’t she?” Sterling asked from where he knelt, not even bothering to look away from the shelves as he restocked them. “She may have mentioned you also ride,” Jeric replied. “I do enjoy taking my bike out,” he admitted. He hadn’t done it nearly as often as he should since moving out here. “Then how about Wednesday? You’re off then, right?” Jeric asked. When Sterling didn’t immediately answer, he added, “Don’t tell me a guy like you can’t handle a real ride?” That made Sterling look away from the shelves and up at the other man. Jeric tossed him a wink and hooked his thumbs through his belt-loops as he rocked back on his heels. “It’s not that, cowboy. I’m just not sure you have the speed or stamina to keep up,” Sterling replied with a sly smile, unable to resist returning fire. “Aight, pretty boy. Put your money where your mouth is and let’s take our bikes out on Wednesday,” Jeric smirked. “See just how hard and fast you like to go.” “Doubt your machine can keep up with mine, but sure, why not?” said Sterling, already starting to look forward to it. He really did need to take his bike out more. Unfortunately, he’d forgotten about their audience.
