Deep breaths. He'd stubbornly spent a little too long looking before he'd leapt back to the sandy shore. Cheeks are tinged blue, chest rising and falling in large, steady motions. He should have paid more attention to his own body's needs, but dammit, he needed to find that necklace! It wasn't even something Inuyasha wore, it was only something he kept on person, which had fallen off while he was trying to catch fish.
It was a rare opportunity, that fish swarmed close enough near the surface that he had a chance of catching them. In being submerged, the jewelry had slipped out of the pocket of his hakama.
