If you had to go on a quest to retrieve a magical object that would save the world, what two fictional characters would you take as your companions and why?
Wonder Woman because I trust her with my life, Leia Organa because I also trust her with my life and want a Wondy Leia team up
stardustkr7 answered your question:genuinely happy feel good movies or tv shows?
Stardust
Have I ever told you that you have phenomenal taste
3, 4, 14, 26, 48?
3. A turn-on
Deep voices.
4. A turn-off
Political apathy.
14. Something I like about my body
I really like the shape of my lips and probably spend at least 30 seconds looking at them every morning.
26. A fictional character I relate to
Hermione Granger. Because she’s the smartest but everyone was annoyed by her. She cared deeply about causes while most people tuned her out. She was incredibly emotional about it, too (something the movies forget) and I love her.
48. Something I want to do before I die
Carry a torch into a cave. How cool would that be?
how about multiples of 7?
7: My best friend: I call her Holmsie. We don’t talk all the time, but when we do, we always start right where we left off. She lives in NorCal and I haven’t seen her in years. She works for Ask, and when I asked her what happened to Jeeves, she told me “oh, we assassinated him.”14: Do I have a crush: We call him Melville Guy. He has a girlfriend, which is probably for the best considering I’m not ready for anything real.
21: Shoe size: 7, but I can wear a 7.5. I have wide feet, so it’s an issue with anything I wear for more than an hour.28: Favorite movie: The Lion King35: Favorite holiday: HALLOWEEN42: When did I last hold hands? I think I held my baby “cousin’s” hand while walking her somewhere. I’m out of practice when it comes to romantic hand holding.49: Am I excited for anything? I’m excited for my parents going out of town so I can spend a weekend on the couch without anyone interrupting.56: If I could meet anyone on this earth, who would it be? JK Rowling.63: Do I believe in ghosts? How about aliens? Yes to both. 70: What was the worst injury I've ever had? I’ve never had an actual injury.77: What’s a song that always makes me happy when I hear it? “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon84: I accidentally eat some radioactive vegetables. They were good, and what’s even cooler is that they endow me with the super-power of my choice! What is that power? Teleportation!91: Kissed a boy? I have kissed five. 98: Played on a sports team? Hahahahaha105: Been underweight? I don’t think so.112: Broken a bone? Nope.119: Learned another language? Technically, English is my second language because I was born in Bangladesh and learned Bengali first.126: Had a surgery? Never.133: Broken a mirror? Kind of? It was a cheap mirror and the reflective stuff rubbed off.
I just want to give a big shoutout to stardustkr7 who was the first person who read the completed comic and was so reassuring and helpful with everything. She is the tops
stardustkr7 said: Maybe they could check out Selina’s parts in Batman Eternal if they haven’t already? Since that’s where the current arc kinda spins off from…
As much as I love Batman Eternal I am outright against recommending it to people interested in a single storyline from it. Some of those comics have two pages of vital content for a certain character and the rest of the book is about something else entirely, and the three trades cost $40 a pop in a bookstore ($65 online for all three at the very least). If a newish reader is interested in a specific character recommending a weekly as confusing as Eternal just seems cruel and unusual imo

wow surprise, surprise. no lady artists… sigh
Yeah. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. I knew that there was likely only going to be one woman, but no women doing art for a WEEKLY BOOK is ridiculous, even if it’s only 26 issues this time around. Ming Doyle just dropped off art duties for a monthly, surely she could do an issue. Becky Cloonan is mainly doing writer duties right now, but she loves Harper and I’m sure she would love to revisit her. I would die for Meghan Hetrick to do another issue. I’m asking for little one shots here. It’s pathetic that I can’t even expect that for a WEEKLY BOOK.
