     nebula hadn’t asked for his help but here he was, his large hands circling her thigh      as it bled. he had said something back, wrapping her bare leg, and when he was done,      his hand still gently rested on her thigh. she considered pushing him off but the warmth      felt comforting. her eyes closed momentarily until she felt just fingers moving across      the blue skin of her thigh. her bottomless eyes opened to witness him following a circular      scar just above her knee.
