I have my statistics exam tomorrow and I feel oddly chill about it. Then I have another exam on Wednesday and a 20-page paper due Friday for which I have written a whopping 2 pages. Clown behavior.

Lovelight Farms

Started reading it because I heard people talk about it and why not, it's the season. Aaaand.... it's nice, it's cute. It's a het christmas-y romance. I feel like, as in a lot of het romances, the conflict is like, non-existent (to me, at this point), and the fake dating trope is not as juicy and exciting as it could be because... they have no real obstacle to getting together, but like I don't think it was meant to be like that in the first place so it's ok. It's kind of brain-numbingly pleasant, and sometimes you need shit like that.

every time I got an exam or a big paper due, without fail, I manage to self-sabotage myself by doing absolutely nothing and just vibrating with anxiety and self-loathing until 1-2 days before the due date when I enter a constant state of panic and finally force myself to do something.

like… why? why do i do this every single time. i’ve been in university for almost 4 years and it’s always been like this. imagine being a normal person dealing with shit like… not in a deranged way. couldn’t be me. like i literally stare at walls or reload the youtube home page for hours while stressing about the shit I should actually be doing. literally what is wrong with me.

Nice things that happened today:

Made a vegan banana bread. Not my most successful attempt because I didn’t have enough flour and the dough didn’t rise enough—but it tastes good, so that’s good enough for me.

Found a nice playlist on Spotify.

Not-so-nice things that happened today:

Realized just how behind I am on my coursework, like... fuck.

Also realised that my mechanical keyboard switches are not hot-swappable so I can’t change the faulty switch I have by myself. Great.
