its been a while. that sounds kinda ominous to say- like suddenly an awfull tragedy happened and the world ended.i done think the world has ended, but you can never be sure, right? things have been happeing, and I kinda forgot I started this blog in the first place, but maybe whoever is out there, whatever stupid beings or ignorant mortals watch me now, I'll tell you what has happened. first of all, that VHS is cursed. I mean I don't technically know but you have to understand that it was not right at all. I managed to get a old of a VHS player and but the tape in. I thought it was broken at firstbecause it played about a seven second clip of a woman on stage singing the words "and you now fall" before the tape went dark and silent for a whole minute until it stopped. it wasn't broken though, that just seemed to be all there was. something about the woman's voice (Vanessa l'etoile, I had come to figure out) that was so enthralling, listening to it felt like I was being lit on fire and ripped apart in the most beautiful way possible, and I kept rewinding the tape. I told myself I was analysing it, told myself that I was doing this for research. I watched that one minute and seven seconds clip over an over for nine hours, I had come to find. I realize now that this is quite long and I don't have time for so many updates, I'll come back with the rest later. for now, I'm misrable but alive. goodbye for now.
The father and the werewolf son team-up by J Jonah Jameson and Man-Wolf (John Jameson) is hilarious and touching.
Blood Hunters #1, 2024
So as I said previously, this cd is broken, but if stargod was a band I’m a little curious now to hear what their music was like. So I went looking around some thrift stores and didn’t find anything interesting store after store where I would go to the desk and ask if they had anything labeled with “stargod” or if they had even just heard of the band. I had called in sick for work for the past few days to look through thrift stores for things (I know that’s not responsible but whatever) but I couldn’t keep doing that forever so I was trying my best to look for anything, but I found nothing really until this one lady at one of the stores said she knew something.
Well I should say more she said it was funny I should ask because they had old vhs tape marked under the name that had been in the back for a decent while. She said she wasn’t sure where it came from but she was pretty sure it came from someone who died or disappeared or something which was, paired with the obsessive wrapping around the single vhs and the ominous “SHE SINGS LIKE LIFE” scrawled on the wrapping in a rusty coloured and smelly liquid (I would say blood but it’s to light) as she put it, “spooky.”
Anyways, because she didn’t really know what to do with it because it wasn’t really sellable, and I guess I came off as desperate or something, she said she would give it to me so long as I didn’t tell people where I got it from. (This doesn’t count because I doubt you’ll find what thrift store I’m talking about) and I am now the owner of one cryptic broken cd, and one cryptic vhs. Now I just need to find myself a vhs player.
So I went asking around about stargod and found some slightly interesting stuff.
The first is that despite almost nobody knowing what I was even talking about I had a few people come to me about it and I’ve gathered that either the band or at least the lead singer was from Paris, and her name was Vanessa l’etoile. According to people who remember the band her voice was the most beautiful ever heard.
The other thing I dig up was the lyrics “and you will fly above the clouds there is no stoping us now, we know our lives and our harmony” from somebody remembering them (I’m not sure how accurate it is because it’s just from one person’s memory but idk)
The last thing was somebody said that they had a shirt for the band they had found at a thrift store that looked kinda like this.
A while ago I was looking through some of my mums stuff and found her music collection. So I was searching for something I knew because my mom has a pretty good music taste when I found this broken cd, no cover and just thrown in the box. It had “stargod” written on it and other then that it was blank. No band markings or anything, maybe she burned it herself? Idk. I asked my mom and she said it was a band from the 80s and she had probably burned it herself.
But the problem is:
When you look up “stargod” or “stargod band” nothing of the sort comes up
There is a guy who makes music under the name but not in the 80s.
And my mom said the band was fairly big so I feel like there would have to at least have one post scrounging around on the internet, I dunno.
Anyways if you’ve heard of stargod or no something feel free to message end about it bc I’m sort of interested now.
