She shut her eyes as if to escape the pain as Tony worked to get her out. Pepper could already imagine the bruises as they formed.
"A huge one…and a vacation."She landed right into his arms with a thunk.
"Millions. And a month long trip anywhere you want. Hawaii? Done. Paris? You bet. All expenses paid." He murmurs in her ear, pressing a kiss to her forehead as he holds her close. Tony is trying to be as gentle as possible with Pepper as he breaks open a hole in the wall. Darkness greets them and they’re outside a warehouse. JARVIS: I’ve found your location, sir. Coordinates are being sent to the suit.
"Thank you, Jarvis."
With that, he’s soon flying back to Stark Towers. He keeps Pepper close to his chest to keep her warm in the chilling air. The suit radiates a mild amount of heat so as not to burn her
Pepper smiled at their joke; though she knew he meant every word and she was getting that vacation. Today's events were wear her down and fatigue washed over her. "Honestly, the only thing I can think of right now is a nap."
The thread you're doing with starknotasoldier? Is perfect. Your character voice is just really in character, the way theirs is, and together on my dash it's just hella cool to see. Thanks for being awesome.
