✪ Who’s most likely to try some horrifying and inadvisable “life hack” tip?

OH BOY I honestly don’t know if it’s more likely to be me, Charles, or James

me because I think it’s hilarious and I’m lazy

Charles because he genuinely has no sense of what is inadvisable when it comes to domestic life

and James because he’s trying to Git Gud and beat the odds and become a domestic MASTER

luckily we don’t really know many life hack tips and don’t look them up, so the danger is perhaps avoided

Zipartas thinks he’s the Most Responsible, but sometimes very much is not because he’s not in the habit of denying himself something he wants. Starklyn is probably the easy choice for “actually the most responsible” since he’s very much a stickler for the rules, getting things done on time, and everything that goes along with that. No one would peg Rex and Mylzorix as being particularly responsible, but they actually are! It’s sort of weird. They’re quiet and industrious and get a lot of stuff done without anyone really knowing that they’re the ones behind it.

Everyone else is sort of a hot mess, no matter how much they might protest that they’re not.

☼ How do things like skills/memories/abilities translate between system members and the body, or between system members? (ie can only one person draw, does muscle memory work the same regardless of who’s fronting, etc.)

memories of stuff that’s happened with the body transfer pretty well, with usually a moment of realization associated with accessing it (or like, “*appears by the front* hi– oh, this is what we’re doing now?”). memories of folks’ inner pasts need to be, like, actively recalled by said person while talking with me for me to be able to have any memory of them

skills/abilities seem mostly tempered by my constant co-presence + muscle memory, but then there’s things like: Serpent has a pretty different art style that becomes more apparent when he more solidly has the front??? he’s also way better at poetry lmao. also Serpent and Val, and even to a lesser extent Thomas, have less social anxiety than me, which i consider a skill :V

Generally, the ones who think they’re responsible are the ones who are SUPPOSED TO BE!!! So, like, Mew, Kura, Meg, etc

The ACTUAL responsible ones, on the other hand, tend to be newer members, so right now Mark is very responsible. Also Satan.

So we need some good Apollo/Midnighter in our life. Any comic recs?

Okay, like... I personally like Midnighter 2015-2016 (just 12 issues). I like it because the art is top notch and he and Apollo are in this kind of post-war chill period where M is just kind of bobbing around the world trying to figure out who he is when he’s not a super solider. They actually break up right at the start of the arc, but Apollo busts back into the plot in a big way later and M spends 90% of his screen time talking about Apollo.

Then I highly recommend the brand new Midnighter and Apollo series that’s currently out. Only one issue in right now. I’m not sure where it’s gonna go, but I’m optimistic because Apollo has a major role again. 

It’s a good jumping on point, I think, to get to know the characters if you don’t want to back read into The Authority and Stormwatch arcs where they first showed up a significant way. The extremely inaccurate summary is aliens turned them into super soldiers and then governments of nebulous legal backing turned them into super powered black ops. Horrific shit happened to them during this time. Then they got out and now they do what they want.

The Authority, Stormwatch, and Midnighter 2008-2009 back reads are really dark, so that’s my primary caution if you dig in there. I wiki’d most of it because I heard it was dark. So yeah. That’s my rec. :)
