I personally really like the idea of Maxime possibly having a tiny bitty smally crush on Gru during their high school era but it didn't last long though... And it was one sided on Maxime's side in my personal headcanons and lore... As adults, I really do love the dynamic they have as rivals and as friends post-DM4, since they now seem to be on good terms... But despite being on good terms now, I like to think they still keep their rivalry dynamic... Like the way they talked together during the phone scene. They're so silly. Especially when you realize they've been knowing each other for 40 entire years!!!! Very fun dynamic to me!! As people used to say back in the 2010s days... Gruxime definitely is my "BROTP"... 🪳🌕🪳🌕🪳🌕

If you’re going to do Lucy and Gru’s switch role au, what’s going to happen with other supervillains? Like Victor, El Macho, Balthazar Bratt and Maxime Le Mal?

hi hi!! I've honestly only switched lucy and gru, everyone else has more or less the same roles in canon. This is mostly because 1) I wanted to keep things simple and focus on writing gru and lucy (and how they take wildly different paths), and 2) it's kind of hard to do a roleswap with such an unbalanced cast of villains and 'heroes', or the spies... technically the villains could roleswap between themselves and still be villains, but the biggest reason why i even swapped lucy and gru in the first place is because i wanted to see lucy as a villain and gru as a spy. it didn't feel interesting enough to go through all that because the main duo operates on a wholly different premise. and that's not even touching on who would swap for the gorls, they're like. unswappable to me.

Though I will say...even if they're the only ones swapped, I've got a few big changes to the plots and characterizations for some of them !! Mainly Dr. Nefario (who I've thought about extensively because of Rise of Lucy), and Dru (who I...HAVEN'T thought about that much in this au but it'd be interesting because a lot of his canon motivations hinges on the fact that Gru is. WAS a villain. so the dynamics here would be pretty different).

Puss & Death were in the living room: *Puss moaning while she is on top of Death's thigh. As for Death who grabs her hips as he licks her cheek.*

Ruby: *walks inside of her home with small bag after closes the front door but not knowing her parents having fun time* "Mom, Dad I'm hom — WHAT THE FRIJOLES!

Puss: RUBY! *As she throws herself other side of sofa while she covers herself after she got her shirt* "H-how was school?" *She nervously chuckles*

Ruby: "Nah, nah nah! I do not want to interrupt your little "Fun time" as for I will go straight to my room to get some rest." *Went upstairs leaving her confused Parents. Ruby mumbling under her breath* "I swear, this is third time I seen them" *Feeling disgusting*

“My thoughts? He is a skilled gato in most regards. Brave, selfless, and has a love for adventure. I even wanted his autograph. But my problem with him is he’s an arrogant little legend who though himself to be immortal. He didn’t value his eight lives so that’s why I went after him.”  He spoke.
