I haven’t got a single complaint to this meetup. I second this notion full-handedly.

So the place that Knuckles had found himself in was certainly nice, what with all of the greenery and pleasant breeze blowing about, but it was a little boring, still. Not a single Badnik to bust, and all of the guys going about minding their business didn’t look like a single one of them could hurt a fly... A rather unimpressed face filled the echidna’s features, and pace slowly started to slow down, movement crawling to a slog. Of course, when he actually wanted to do something, all of the excitement decided to move south.
The yawn Knuckles started was cut short by the feeling of something plush tapping his back. One of those friendly creatures coming over to say hi? If he could judge looks for a moment, that seemed like the only thing they were capable of doing. Turning around, eyes couldn’t help but raise, never seeing the pinkie anywhere before. That smile he wore made him look like the head honcho in happiness, but the jaded face still stared.
“Yeah? You need something? You and your fluffy friends do anything else besides hop around and look happy? I’m kind of bored over here...”

Today’s breakfast’s revolved around hotcakes! Momotaro was busy cooking up fluffy pancakes while Waddle Dees and Toads served that to the dining area. He was working on a stack of star-shaped pancakes for Kirby, along with other shapes and the regular round ones!
And then he saw that the puffball had came into the cafe’s kitchen.
“A-Ah, Kaabii-kun! Almost r-ready!”
Two more pancakes had to cook on their flipped side to finish off the very tall stack. It was 2 feet tall!

“H-Hai hai.” the boy confirmed.
A cake cutter was pulled from the shelf and was used to dice the cake into sixths. Each slice had its own berry on top. Momotaro made a mental note to make another cake soon, because these “puffs” go through these...quite quickly. On the other hand, there was an unfrosted cake and cookies on the cooling rack. That should be decorated later.
Momotaro didn’t take another look at Kirby, but had to ask, “Any part, you want?” A couple of plates were taken out to serve the slices.
