I'm SO sick of hearing phrases like these. I don't care about your exceptions. You don't have a good enough reason that's grounded in reality to advocate for banning or stigmatizing the one kink you hate. It's all the same to people who have the power to hurt us, and you're being a Pick Me.

God, I'm so fuckin bothered about what season 2 did to Vander and Silco's past too, like. Nothing makes any sense.

In season 1, you get "sssssome years ago I guess, before Vander had his old man beard, he sliced Silco's eye and then tried to drown him and we're left to wonder the details". That's fine, I never even questioned that.

Then season 2 is like, "Vander went into a rage when he saw Silco standing over Felicia's dead body on the bridge, further evidenced by the letter Jinx and Vi find"??

And I'm like, NO HE DIDN'T??

Vander was already much older than he was in the drowning flashback. Silco would have been recognizable to Vi in SOME way if he had been there, and I'm extending that. Silco would have been in Vi's life before that too.

Vander picked up the kids and walked home calmly after Felicia died, and like sure maybe he lunged at Silco and he ran away, so Vander took out his rage on another enforcer instead and went to find Silco later, but that means he didn't just "lose his head", he had plenty of time to process what happened and NOT decide that he was killing his best friend "for the greater good".

Why would he have blamed Silco at any point, let alone in that way? I dunno, there's having anger problems and then there's being fuckin dumb. Imagine being like, "oh no, I lost a close friend, guess I'll burn the other one too!" BUHH???

I really hope all this garbage that payment processors are doing is making antishippers question what they stand for. It's not like we haven't been warning people about it this whole time (see: William Gaines defending the artistic value of his horror comics before the Comics Code Authority was forced on people anyway), but now it's happening again:

Collective Shout, a group who doesn't even try to hide that their motives aren't actually meant to help children at all and whose founders are openly transphobic (some sources here and here), managed to convince payment processors to pressure Steam and Itch.io to get rid of "rape and incest games", and look what that led to. Now, paypros are cracking down on ALL porn, ALL adult topics, and some of them are even extending their list of banned targets to vague nonsense like "fantasy (cat ears)". (sources: here and here)

This ALWAYS happens when you fearmonger about low hanging social fruit. Whether you mean to or not, you're directly assisting groups like Collective Shout when you refuse to look past your disgust and see the facts. By insisting that people with "bad" kinks don't deserve to exist, you're on the same side as the bigoted anti-porn groups, no matter how much you try to convince yourself you're different and that your standards can be reasonably met without leading to broader attacks on people you don't think are icky.

It has always happened within fandom—that's why antishippers received the reputation they have—and it has always happened in politics as well. It's the same thing.

Lucy turning around and closing a little bit of distance between herself and Mike so that she can hold onto her protector for comfort felt SO fucking good. This whole page feels good. Augustus' line is so sharp and specific that I'll be surprised if Mike doesn't have an actual hole through him now haha! The way Blitzø went full caregiver and gave Stolas space and hushed him gently and held him and just listened and cooked for him and went off to get something he might like to eat and looked at him with PURE fucking love while he listened to him talk is all so beautiful.

I thought Mastermind went by pretty fast, but I do appreciate that Stolas actually trading away everything to save Blitzø showed Blitzø that he genuinely does value him more than he ever thought possible, and I think that's why Blitzø so easily slid into honestly this kind of "perfect partner" role in Sinsmas.

I always saw Blitzø's reservations about being anything but sexual with Stolas as a defensive barrier due to him being certain that his heart was not safe with Stolas, that 'of course Stolas didn't care about him as a person', so Blitzø was NOT going to let himself care about him in that way either. Now he knows Stolas does care in that way, and he feels safe opening himself up to him like he always wanted to. I don't think Blitzø would have been so upset about the idea that their relationship is only sexual if he wasn't longing for it to be deeper.

Okay, I know what people meant now. Deltarune's 4th chapter is amazing. It hit me twice as hard as any previous chapter. That's not to downplay the previous chapters tho! We needed them to earn this one, and oh god, my favorite part was how far Susie has come. She fucking rules!! She rules in chapter 3 too, like she and Ralsei are fantastic the whole time and ugh, let me just list every damn thing about the story that I love tbh???

Can I hug The Knight??? Like, their design just makes me happy and I wanna snuggle their sassy ass! Bro, this legendary entity that one-shots you unless you crawled through the fourth wall and fought another asshole to get a special armor crossing their arms and backing up at mach speed is SO FUNNY.
