tell me about ur cat. any funny stories, how you got him/her, quirks s/he has, etc.

Snuggles died two years ago in August. 

I’d had him for seventeen years. He was born in the barn next to my grandma’s house when I was five. He stopped breathing, and the barn owner resuscitated him. Ever since, he was deaf, and his eyes went in different directions. We spent a solid couple weeks there that year, because my dad was doing work on the house. My sister and I would go to the barn and hold the kittens. I would sit on the swing set, and Snuggles would sleep on my shoulder for hours. My mom would tell me to stop bothering that cat, but when I put him down in the barn, he followed me. 

We took him and his brother Noodles home. They were the best cats ever. Noodles died a month after Snuggles. 

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a writer. I wrote lots of stories about Snuggles and Noodles. One of them was from the point of view of the Build-A-Bear mini puppies that Snuggles used to steal from my brother’s loft bed. He’d pick them up at the back of the neck like kittens, and carry them around meowing. We’d find them everywhere. 

We always wondered if Snuggles was so loud because he couldn’t hear himself. because he was loud. 

He walked on the piano almost every night. He purred constantly. 

He was magic, we’re pretty sure. We’d see him walk down the stairs three or four times in a row, but never up. He’d show up on your lap out of nowhere. 

He liked to be held like a baby. 

My sisters and I had triple bunk beds with a ladder going straight up the side. We taught Snuggles and Noodles how to climb up and down the ladder, which is how he would get in and out of my brother’s bed. 

Snuggles licked noses, and Noodles licked ears. Snuggles slept with me every night for years. He’d sit outside my door and meow when he wanted in. If I was reading, but he wanted attention, he’d stick his head over my book. 

They were two of the sweetest, gentlest cats ever, but they’d take your finger off for cheese or chicken. People who hated cats loved Snuggles. 

When he was older and couldn’t meow out loud anymore, I’d know he was outside my door, because he’d scratch his ear, and his leg would thump against the door. 

He was only 10 when we got Obi, and Obi was little. Too little to even be adopted technically. Teeny tiny. Snuggles made sure Obi knew who was in charge, and then raised Obi to be a cat. He and Noodles used to terrorize the dogs. Picture 60lb Obi, standing two feet away from the water bowl barking, because sixteen year old, 5lb Snuggles would bite his ears if he tried to drink out of it. 

He didn’t ride in a cat carrier. If someone else was driving, I’d hold him. If I was driving, he’d sit happily on a pillow in the passenger’s seat. He liked to look out the window. Once I had to have someone else take him because I couldn’t get off work, and he wouldn’t acknowledge me for the rest of the day. 

We used to dress him and Noodles up in Bitty Baby doll clothes. They didn’t mind. Well, Noodles minded a little bit. 

The last few years, Snuggles had to be on a thyroid pill. It was this tiny pink pill that I’d have to shove down his throat. My alarm still goes off every other day to remind me to give it to him. I had a system down that usually worked, but sometimes he’d spit that little pill across the room. Sometimes I’d be sure he got it, and then find it on the couch when he walked away.

The only time he ever bit anyone was when he had a urinary tract infection, and he didn’t even break skin. Noodles only bit (or sometimes smacked) people he thought he was bigger than, like my sister or my one cousin. He never broke skin either. He was just a bully. 

Snuggles liked to chase a laser light, but Noodles couldn’t see it. We have containers of catnip with Noodles teeth marks though. 

Snuggles used to stand behind the dog water bowl, with his back feet in the food bowl, and drink water with his paw. If he drank with his tongue instead, you’d know because he’d have water drops going all up his face. 

He had three white spots down his front, and white on his toes.

who's your top 5 favorite bosses from cuphead?

   That’s a tough one cause honestly they all are such a delight to look at. So much thought, time, and dedication was put into every single one of them. And boy does it show! But if I must choose, and in no particular order, I’d say – Captain Brineybeard, Dijimmi the great, Grim Matchstick, Dr.Kahl himself I like how he looks, and Cala Maria.    Course I enjoy King Dice as well but I didnt include him on the list only cause I’m pretty sure most people are more than aware of my fondness for the character. This was rough tho, they ALL got good designs. Even the background characters and the ones in the run & guns. What a creative and marvelously visualized game.
