Tsukiko came to that conclusion after her attempt at a sneaky greeting was swept up by quite the enthusiastic hug, which snowballed into laughter, cheer and cuddles just for old time’s sake. Just like Kanata, Suzuya had seen her coming from a mile away- honestly she wouldn’t have it any other way. There was nothing better than being with her childhood friends. The only thing that could ever top this warm feeling of ease would them to be all together. They were an inseparable trio after all~ unforgettable and irreplaceable.
"It is… oh how I missed you and Kanata." she reminisced as she continued to relax at her friend’s side. "After you two left, it just wasn’t the same. We’ve been together since we were kids, it didn’t feel right not having you two around. ..it might even sound selfish, but I just had to chase you two here. It’s no fair to let you two have all the fun. That’s why you have to promise me Suzuya; From today on, promise me you won’t leave me out again, okay..?"
"And I missed the two of you as well." Apart of him had wanted to try and convince his two friends to join him, but he didn't have to now. They had come on their own and Suzuya was happier than ever. He'll give Tsukiko a small kiss on the forehead. He was so happy to be reunited with his best friends. He couldn't ask for more. This was the best thing that could've happened.
Hearing Tsukiko's words hurt him a little. He hadn't left her out on purpose, he didn't even realize he was doing so. He supposed it may have seemed like he was....Jeez he felt bad now. Suzuya will pull her into a hug, petting her head a little. "I'm sorry. That's not what I was trying to do. I bet Kanata feels the same way. But I promise I won't do it again. The three of us will always be together." Pulling away from the embrace, he'll hold out his pinky finger. A pinky promise. Was that childish? Perhaps, but Suzuya didn't care all that much.
