Thoughts on Rosalina in Wonder (so far)

I'm really liking how Laura Faye Smith sounds as Rosalina here! At least, from what I recognized as new voice clips:

I also like this new render! It's very flowy, which fits Rosalina. Helps her look all the more ethereal and elegant.

I like that a luma seems to be accompanying her for this adventure. Very Mario Kart Wii.

I've seen some speculation that the crash landed starshroom might be the very same starshroom from Rosalina's childhood, just fixed up. I suppose that would explain why it crash landed (perhaps it's still a little faulty), plus they kind of allude to that by having only a single luma accompany her (unless we count Co-Star Luma as a separate luma who's also canonically there).

Wonder why it crashed anyway. From what we've seen Rosalina seems pretty competent at flying spaceships.

Maybe Bowser crashed into her?

Many Mario fans have seen this image:

And yeah, it's funny, but I'm starting to think that, at least in terms of the mainline games/universe, Nintendo wants to keep her intended visits to Earth only occurring once every 100 years canon?

Because now that I think about it, Mario and friends come to her in 3D World by taking a rocket. She legit was just in space in that game.

Her appearance (supposedly as a street performer on Earth) in Odyssey was scrapped.

She only appears in space in Super Nintendo World.

Cursa came to her whilst she was travelling through space in Sparks of Hope, and once Cursa was dealt with she almost immediately returned to space.

And now here in Wonder she seemingly crash lands instead of making an intentional visit (although why she's in a starshroom at all I'm not sure of).
