So this is just a dumb theory, but the final line of Act 4, when Euphrasie says, “You might learn to forgive us,” I initially, I thought “us” referred to everyone in the country who made the wish for a savior, but I never understood why the “remnants” of Siffrin’s past loops were there, and why this scene puts SO much emphasis on them.

Even if the “Start Again” comic has a completely different interpretation of this scene, it’s clear that the “remnants” of Siffrin’s past loops are asking for forgiveness. It’s almost as if they recognize that Siffrin is the reason time keeps looping and why he can’t escape.

Even if Siffrin isn’t aware that his wish is the reason he can’t leave, the remnants of their past loops know, and it feels like they acknowledge the burden he carries and their role in it.

In other words…they’re asking themselves for forgiveness.

Part of a trio with Rigel and Alnitak- siblings?

Merope: The Pleiade who disappeared from the sky

Mythologically the wife of Sisyphus (who inspired the name: 'Siffrin')

Has a built-in family- six siblings/ cousins/ related peers

Lupus: The wolf constellation

Sounds like 'Loop'

Something something Lone Wolf something something

Already on the fandom's radar through The Overkill au

More likely to use this as either Loop's chosen name or a relative's name over Siffrin's

Felis: the nickname of a star in Hydra and a former cat constellation from the 18th century

Siffrin is a cat person

A fandom reference as there is a cat that looks like Siffrin in the mod ISAT: Once Upon A Wish

If I were to include comic Siffrin in an au, they would be a cat, and this would probably be their name

The hunter turned constellation forced to chase something unobtainable for all eternity

More likely to use this as The King's name over Siffrin's

Atlas: Used as a name for multiple astronomy things but in this case, a star in Taurus and potentially Pleiade?

Mythologically the titan that carried the sky

Has Sisyphus energy but carries it endlessly rather than pushing and dropping his burden over and over again

A traveler being named 'Atlas' is just fitting to me

More likely to use this as The King's name over Siffrin's or if Siffrin is a wishclone of The King

{in my interpretation comicfrin was alone in their quest to save vaugarde due to the rest of the party not being able to meet, and so they wished to not be alone anymore, therefore trapping themself in a timeloop until they get a hold of their party.}
