Words can not describe how heavy my heart is with the passing of the Great Leonard Nimoy. I can only offer my farewell salute to a man who enlightened my childhood and the minds of hundreds. I thank my parents for letting me be a weird and nerdy Trekkie as a kid. Most memorably when I cut my hair like a Romulan on the couch next to my dad. He got in so much trouble. Nimoy, you have brought so much into the lives of others. You created a generation of believers and deep thinkers. Your presence will be missed for you shall always be and always have been our friend. Live Long and prosper. RIP Leonard Nimoy.
