The old architecture in such a tech centered space is a neat mashup. #startgarden
Hiatus... Be Gone!
We're backkkkkkkkkkk... And we're going big this time. We've got a new website, a new video, and a new outlook on our awesome project. The biggest announcement we have to share is that next week, Tom and I will begin our crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. ...Talk about psyched! We're really looking forward to seeing what kind of support people are willing to offer!
We have already previewed the page (which you can see here), searching for critiques and some awareness. A handful of people gave us just what we were looking for: some extremely constructive criticism. Others have reached out and offered their services as volunteers, which will definitely come in handy once the campaign goes live on April 15. On awareness: More than 16,000 people saw our initial preview post in their Facebook feed (which makes us feel incredibly awesome) and we look forward to getting that same sort of reach when we finally start accepting contributions.
In the meantime, we decided to pursue a $5,000 award from Start Garden, a local group focused on making start-ups a reality. If you like our idea, help us out with the Start Garden competition by endorsing us here. As of this post, we're three days away from this week's Start Garden decision and we think we have a real shot at getting their vote. Imagine how it would help us spread the word about the Indiegogo campaign!
So do us a favor by previewing our campaign page, endorsing us on Start Garden, and marking 4/15 on your calendars!
