Growing up as a teenager I used to wonder if a manual on how life should be lived ever existed. I would find myself looking for the answers to life out in others. And sometimes, like it was in my case, If you don’t have the right mentors to point you in the right direction listening to the wrong people will leave you feeling adrift. - Thankfully one day I came across Paulo Coelho’s book “The Alchemist,” and a new era of enlightenment had begun for me. Everything my parents had failed to teach me I suddenly was being taught in the story of a young Shepard that leaves his hometown in Spain in search of a buried treasure in Egypt. I now glanced at life with a perspective of pure abundance. - A life where one is not living out their dreams can become a life of unfulfillment… Live out your dreams and If you don’t have any, Create them! - The author’s dominant impression in the story is that the only obligation that a person has in life is to realize their destiny. The key to your happiness is in your hands. You must write out your own life and not allow others to dictate it. - You must give your own life value. If you happen to not have a dream or a calling, it is your life purpose to search for it and pursue it. A quote from the alchemist might be able to help on that “Wherever your heart is, that’s where you will find your treasure” - “There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve : the fear of failure.” Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist. - #DreamsComeTrue #OneDayAtaTime #LigeGoesOn #StartingFromTheBottom #BigDreams #Thankful #Kcrdnk #FloridaKeys #Mile0 #Sony #SonyAlpha (at Mile 0) https://www.instagram.com/p/B6my6_cjdp9/?igshid=4kcun9wi179b
