"Peruvian Memories", Acrylic on canvas, 70 x 70cm. 🎨 When I was almost finished this canvas I realised I had painted my trek up Machu Picchu mountain in Peru. Many, many, MANY steep giant steps, super hot sun beaming down, colourful tropical plants and alpacas wandering around the ruins when I finally got down, plonked myself behind an ancient wall and had a well deserved picnic. Only for my MP3 player with Jeff Buckley and Neil Young I don't think I would have ever gotten to the bottom 😂. I will never do it again 😂 but I thank those memories for appearing on this painting. 🖌️ I will be exhibiting this painting at @start.art.global at the @saatchi_gallery this May along with many new paintings. Next week I should have been exhibiting @start_net_ in @saatchi_gallery in London. Unfortunately because of the virus restrictions I had to defer my place at the show until next year. I've been working on my paintings for START since the beginning of the year and I was so excited to show my work at such a prestigious event but look forward to doing it in 2021. I've been trying to decide where to show my collection or what to do with the paintings now, which is a situation I know many artists are in since so many exhibitions have been cancelled. . 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠 .
