It is a really clear night, and I went stargazing again. I actually got to identify the constellations!!

There's a really cool app that I found that tells you which is which, also nebulae, planets, stars, and some other spacy stuff. It's really cool - StarTracker.

I'm gonna go out again in a couple hours.

Earlier this week, I learned how #Hermes made a #Lyra out of a turtles shell and the entrails of a cow. Tonight as I looked into the sky, I asked "Where are You (Lyra)?" As I looked around, I saw this twinkling star, seeming to want my attention. I couldn't really see it with my telescope, but using the #startracker app I realized it was Vega, the brightest star of the #constellation Lyra.🙂 It's one of the coolest moments in my life.
