Finished the second holiday present today: knitted infinity scarf for my boyfriend. I knitted two panels, sowed those together along the long side and then sewed the short ends onto each other to create effectively a big circle with a distinct inside and outside. Happy with how it turned out, but also really really happy that I got it finished on time.

Finished the first skein! I guess that it was technically more half a skein. Currently knitted 34.5/120 needed “block rows”. I have two more full skeins left so that should be more than enough to finish this outside of the scarf.

Made a swatch and started knitting the forest vibes sweater this weekend. Making this sweater has been a long term dream of mine. I’m using a merino with no extra yarns to hopefully reduce the fuzziness a bit. So far I’ve “finished” the cuff on one arm.
It is an absolute dream to knit up. It is mainly knit on 5mm needles, which is quite a lot thicker than I usually use so despite the non-standard stitches in the pattern it knits surprisingly quickly.
Bonus information on the yarn I’m using. I’ve got 10 balls that run 100m per ball, which should be more than enough.

Scarf update: I’ve currently done 21 blocks, and based on how big it currently is I’ll need to do 120. Still a long wag to go, but I’ll keep at it.
Took a semi-inventory of my current stash. Tidied everything a bit and put it in such a way that I’ll be able to easily access most of it. Let the 6 month no-buy/stash busting challenge commence!
