If people can’t appreciate that 8 guys had to learn that choreography BLIND, in heavy/hot ass armor to bring you a fight scene with actual emotion directed into it, then they aren’t allowed to appreciate the original trilogy fight scenes either.

Galactic Republic Territory Expansion on the Outer Rim, huh? Basically fruitless, because even if they remembered those worlds were there, most of them turned out to serve minor use. I meant more of the shady behavior of the republic strong arming neutral/remote planets during the Clone Wars into the goverment just to call them theirs instead of the Sepratists. I mean, these poor farming and small agricultural centered planets who had nothing to do with core politics are living completely independent lifestyles until the Republic landed there and would be like “You gotta help shelter us and become part of us so the Sepratists don’t attack you! We’ll protect you!”
To which they go, “Uhhh? What? What Sepratists?” Que the Sepratists landing directly after and going “Hey sup, heard you were housing republic military so now we’re gonna wreck your shit.”
Like… TEHY WOUDLDNT HAVE NEEDED YOUR PROTECTION IFF YOU HADNT COME!? AHWYS WHY DID YOU COMPROMISE THEM!? Theres a couple episodes in the clone wars that sorta show this happening in varying degree.
Not to mention theres a whole council of ambassadors representing Neutral planets in this war.
Who make the point that MOST of the battles between armies are FOUGHT on their land, in assumption that the winning prize is its planet and system.

I MEAN, I would do it in a lot of the way Obi Wan does ANH. The Force is an engery created by all living things.
I think of it a lot in the way of Chi. As Jedi and whatnot are based on samurai and monks and Chi is a philosophical concept in chinese culture and martial art culture to describe life energy. It’s about the ebb and flow, or, air, that we give back to the world and the world to us. You see it in a lot of stuff. It’s basically what Bending represents in The Last Airbender. And the Chakra stuff in that series also shows how that energy can be harnessed or blocked, etc.
Back when it was just the trilogy, it was understood that EVERYONE is apart of the Force and the Force is in everybody. And I believe that. It’s just that some people, like monks or martial artists, devote their lives to understanding that energy. And grow strong in it by studying. Those were the Jedi. So anyone, really, could be a jedi. It was a belief system, not a… genetic happenstance.

In ROTJ they literally changed Luke’s lightsaber color to green because it was easier to see against the sky in the fight on tatooine.

There’s a type of snake that grew from the ground that you can break off and use as a weapon by holding it’s tail when it hardens, and it could deflect a lightsaber, or it could soften back into a snake and wind around a lightsaber blade to eat a jedi’s stupid fucking face

TBH with you I would love to STOP talking about plagueis and his fuck buddy sheev, IN ALL HONESTY, im tired of them being the reason for EVERYTHING.

But really? I love the new shit. Innovation. I love that you can grow organs from bacta now. I love that Hux enginnered the bridge into the center covered area of the star destroyer because RIP ADMIRAL PIETT. I love that the new astromechs are cylindrical because, duh.
I want more stuff like that. I want more of rey telling Han Solo how to use the dashboard of a modified, advanced cockpit. I want to see new gadgets and gizmos and neat new ways that the world we know and love has learned from itself and grown.
