Ellen: Your Majesty, you’re going to want to see this…
Thomas: What is it?
Ellen: It’s all over the news, sir. It first broke in a magazine.
Alexandra: That rat bastard.
Thomas: I told him. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM not to release the information until after Minnie and Henry’s announcement was made.
Ellen: It appears the news leaked from a reporter who was at a party hosted by His Royal Highness and Ms. Clemons.
Thomas: Get my brother on the phone, please, Ellen. And schedule him a meeting with me tomorrow morning. First thing.
Ellen: Yes, Your Majesty.
Henry: Hey Mom, I have a quick question about what I need to pack for Wickstead - what’s going on?
Alexandra: Your uncle got engaged. To that floozy who he cheated on Aunt Kate with.
Henry: Oh. Damn.
Thomas: I’m sorry, Henry. I know I promised you yours would come first. Hell, yours should have come first; you’re the son of the king, goddamnit! Yours takes precedence! Your wedding will be the big one - not his!
Henry: Dad, I know you’re pissed about this, but this doesn’t bother me that much.
Thomas: Why?
Henry: Minnie and I don’t really want a huge wedding. We don’t really want a long engagement either. We’ve talked about it… I think her exact words were “the smaller the better”.
Alexandra: Oh? Why?
Henry: The thought of it being a whole production… it just isn’t her. And it isn’t really me either. We’d rather get married in the chapel at Uncle Leo’s place. It’s so small that only our families could fit inside.
Thomas: That’s - fine. You may do that when the time comes. But in the meantime, I will ask you to move up your proposal. I don’t know when you were going to do it, but before Christmas would be best. Then the focus is back on you.
Henry: Ok. I will.
