Static Memories Mild C/TW for implied overdose/death
I really love how his stupid pose turned out. The first image is inspired by the Garcello FNF mod. The second one is just how he looks in the original Alice Comedies show.
Now, you don't exactly HAVE to know what Tooned Out is and how Julius acts there, but for some quick context, understand he's a very mentally disturbed and traumatized character with addictions to alcohol and smoking. I'll refer to him as TO!Julius. THIS Julius is, again, from the Alice Comedies show. The art style isn't 100% exact, but his design is MOSTLY the same. The black ears pained me to paint, as I'm used to painting them white, lol.
So, like most Toons, there are never consequences to Julius's actions, and at the end of every episode, the world resets. Pretty normal formula! However, a little incident occurs that knocks Julius out. Upon waking up from the gag that lasts a little longer than usual, he slowly but surely starts to have memories that don't make sense. Some of them go past what Alice Comedies let him know, considering he technically had no childhood, but...Now suddenly does?? Those memories belong to none other than TO!Julius. He himself is having a similar situation where he's gaining memories that aren't his, and belong to the ones that AC (Alice Comedies)!Julius holds. However, for TO!Julius, it's not that bad, considering he's always had AC!Julius's memories. Think of TO!Julius like a future AU of canonical AC!Julius!
On the other hand, AC!Julius is NOT having a fun time with TO!Julius's memories. I mean, this silly, mischievous, and street-smart Toon is having sleep paralysis, psychotic breaks, and PTSD episodes of things he doesn't even remember experiencing! What the heck, man.
Alice Comedies goes on as it should, but Julius is not having it anymore and tries coping via substances and suicide. Though the odds are against him, and he can't die. Or, at the very least, not permanently. I see him getting hold of drugs, which, while they let him act like his usual self, slowly kill him.
These images are supposed to depict him walking out of Cartoonland, to who knows where, intoxicated and suicidal. The lyrics symbolize him trying to escape his identity, to stop the memories. The last line, referring to a "she", is speaking of Alice, who is more complex than any other Toon in this world, as she is human.
