Headcanon that Vox actually doesn’t like it when he sees Valentino with anyone else, be it Angel or a one night stand.

He just won’t address it because he thinks if he tries to find a label for what he and Val are, Val will reject it and laugh at him like Alastor did.

He’d rather Val see him as having anger issues rather than have Val work out that it’s jealousy. Because if someone leaves Vox a second time, especially when he’s got all the power in the world, he can’t excuse it by saying he’s weak. No, he’d have to admit the issue is himself, and no amount of power or love he could give someone, it’s not enough because he’s not enough.

So he’ll keep silent forever, and never know Valentino wants the same thing as him.

In the "I'm from fuxking Florida" scene when Vox says "my plan" Val is quick to correct him "our plan. Mine and Velvet's" he's standing up for both of them.

By the time we get to "when I think about the future" Val just says "he's being rude cuz he's stressed out trying to do HIS master plan" HIS not theirs 🥺 💔

But I just love how Vel was there for Val as well. Their dynamic and how they have each other's backs is heartmelting ❤️🙏🏽🥹

Yes! He's done it a million fucking times, then just acts like he never said anything! It's so annoying. Watch, he'll deny it again if he'll even respond to me.
