fun facts about the production of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals that my gf and her friends did last weekend

my gf, local lesbian, played MRS Davidson, who just really wanted to spit in her husband's mouth and twist his nipples while repping the office siren aesthetic and flirting w Paul

My gf also did her own German translation of the show AND directed it

the homeless man in La Dee Dah Dah Day rips off his beard right before his solo to reveal a young handsome man underneath

During that scene where Emma and Paul flee from the coffeeshop and walk through the audience, Paul's actor managed to include increasingly stupid pickup lines for their improv section ("I lost my number, can I have yours...?")

Sam's blue brain is a prop that falls to the ground once his hat is knocked off, so several characters (usually Bill) have to carry around his brain and act disgusted by it. sometimes, Bill's actor licked the brain in the background - don't ask me why that didn't make him infected 😅

To prove that they're not infected, Professor Hidgens asks the others to sing "that one part from Wicked", upon which they fail to sing the ending of Defying Gravity. Bill still did Circle of Life. For the final showing, it was "that one Taylor Swift song" with several different songs sung at the same time and Bill doing My Heart Will Go On from Titanic, forcing Ted to hold Bill for the titanic pose.

Instead of a Shirley Temple, Bill wants to make a Soda Zitron (if you're Austrian, you know that's the most basic drink 😂 just carbonated water & lemon juice)

I got to crochet some intestines that the infected ppl pulled out of Charlotte's and Professor Hidgens' bellies 😅 then Charlotte returned w blue intestines hanging out for Join Us and Die

After Ted gets hurt by Sam and Charlotte, Professor Hidgens takes care of Ted during Bill's and Alice's call. Ted gets his arm wrapped in bandages and gets a tampon stuck up his nose.

When Professor Hidgens sedates Emma, Ted witnesses it and Hidgens tells Alexa to send a poison dart after Ted, which we hear taking him out backstage as the stage goes black

Professor Hidgens revealed a blue gymnastics ribbon from his blazer when he started singing Show Stopping Number and did silly moves with it

General McNamara was played by the same guy who played the Nerdy teen and Sam was played by a different guy

General McNamara takes Paul's iPhone offstage, several noises (gun shots, shredding sounds) are heard while he destroys the phone and when he gets back on stage, he blows some flour into the air as a stand-in for the destroyed phone

Nora and Zoey are in the helicopter together, Zoey dies in Nora's arms after the helicopter crash (a la Eponine in Les Mis) and Nora pulls her offstage wailing

Alice is onstage during Let It Out and Inevitable and having a wholesome time w her dad <3

some Starkid fans showed up and saw our production after seeing the one in London!! one group even came in cosplay

So thankful for all the music opportunities that have been coming my way in the last few months 😭 💖 and for anyone who's been listening to the results!

I got to compose for animation for the 1st time (which I wanna do more of), practise how to make OC themes, release some fansongs w my friends AND do the background music for the A2V podcast.

I have some things lined up for 2025/2026...

- a sad Valentino ballad (similar lyrics to his solo in 2x07 where he sings about Vox...only I wrote it before s2) with chords + a melody that I am very proud of

- a funny/stupid Vees track with several people involved as VAs. working on lyrics rn

- a Voxval rock ballad based on a fanfic

- a compilation of instrumental OC themes I've done

- a Verosika pop song with flirty lyrics

- proper commissiom sheets/info with video references

- AND MORE LOUNGE JAZZ COVERS FOR SINFLUENTIAL STUDIO (A2V podcast and Patreon-exclusive eps)

Not sure when these will be finished and in which order, but yeah....taking things one day at a time. Sometimes working on one project, then letting it rest for a while to work on another one on this list. All while balancing life.

Based on these descriptions, which of these projects are you most interested in?

And is there any other kind of Hellaverse music (or projects involving music) you'd want to see more of?

SOOO HAPPY to have completed my first ever paid music commission for the A2V podcast 🥰

This podcast is so cute and funny. It features Alastor and Vox talking to eachother. Zero AI, just two VAs and the writer/artist....and for this episode, my music! They also have a Patreon where you can support them for exclusive episodes and other perks - which allows them to have the budget for stuff like this music is the first place.

I made a Jazz Lounge Cover of ONCE WE GET UP THERE for them - one of my fave songs this season. Bc it was commissioned by the ppl who make the podcast, it may not be used other for other fandom projects etc.

But you can listen to the music on its own for fun. It's so long because it loops. I recommend it for study sessions, ambiance etc 🎶

Mouse (the artist and writer) even drew my music sinner OC with the speaker head for this and she looks SO DAMN CUTE RIGHT? 😭💖

The final fifth chapter of my Vox fanfic with the name "screen of Thesius" is out! It mainly deals with my ideas of his backstory, but also s2 ideas, so I wanted to finish it before the s2 premiere the day after I'm posting this.

This chapter is basically my own version of "s2 final showdown between the Hotel and demon form Vox", I'm curious how the show will go about this plotline.
